Abstract: The base station may receive a first indication that the UE supports NR-CA with multiple PUCCH groups or NR-DC with multiple cell groups and a second indication that the UE does not support simultaneous Rx/Tx in a first frequency band and a second frequency band, and schedule communication with the UE to avoid scheduling the simultaneous Rx/Tx based on the first and second indications. The base station may avoid scheduling simultaneous Rx/Tx in a first cell group or a first PUCCH group including the first frequency band and a second cell group or a second PUCCH group including the second frequency band. The UE may skip reporting to the base station that the UE supports the NR-DC or the NR-CA with the first frequency band and the second frequency band.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a first common frequency resource (CFR) configured for multicast downlink communications and associated with a first bandwidth part, and an indication of a second CFR configured for broadcast downlink communications and associated with a second bandwidth part. The UE may determine whether to switch a bandwidth part for receiving downlink communications based at least in part on the indication of the first CFR and the indication of the second CFR. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some implementations, a method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) is described that includes identifying that the UE is in carrier aggregation communication with a primary and secondary cell. The method may also include monitoring, during one or more time intervals, UE-specific search spaces of the secondary cell for control information scheduling data communications on the primary cell. The method may include switching, during one or more different time intervals, to monitoring UE-specific search spaces of the primary cell. Another method describes wireless communication at a base station that may configure a UE to communicate via carrier aggregation, transmit control information via the secondary cell to the UE during downlink TTIs, and transmit control information via the primary cell to the UE during uplink TTIs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described, that provide for configuration and switching between multiple groups of search space sets based on activated serving cells or activated resources for one or more serving cells. An access network entity may configure multiple groups of search space sets, and a user equipment (UE) may monitor for control information in an activated search space set group. A first group of search space sets may be activated based on a serving cell being activated, and the UE may switch to a second group of search space sets when the serving cell is deactivated. Search space set group switching also may be performed based on one or more activated bandwidth parts (BWPs). An access network entity may trigger search space set group switching using explicit signaling, based on cell activation/deactivation, based on a timer, or any combinations thereof.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a base station may communicate in a wireless communications system. The UE may receive first control signaling indicating a first radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) and a first feedback process identifier, where the first RNTI indicates scheduling of a unicast downlink transmission. The UE may also receive second control signaling indicating a second RNTI and a second feedback process identifier, where the second RNTI indicates scheduling of a multicast downlink transmission. The UE may manage a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARM) process at the UE associated with the unicast downlink transmission and the multicast downlink transmission based on the first RNTI, the first feedback process identifier, the second RNTI, and the second feedback process identifier. The UE may also simultaneously process multicast downlink transmission and broadcast signaling.

The UE may determine, based at least in part on the transmission type for the physical downlink shared channel, a transmission configuration indicator state, of a plurality of possible transmission configuration indicator states, that corresponds to a quasi-co-location assumption, of a plurality of possible quasi-co-location assumptions, for the physical downlink shared channel. The UE may determine, based on the group of transmission configuration indicator states, a transmission configuration indicator state list arrangement indicating a first state list associated with the first bandwidth part and a second state list associated with the common frequency resource. The UE may select, based on the transmission configuration indicator state list arrangement, a transmission configuration indicator state sharing scheme or a transmission configuration indicator state separation scheme. The sharing scheme may include at least one transmission configuration indicator state that may be common between a unicast transmission configuration and a multicast transmission configuration.
