    Abstract: An audio encoding and decoding method and a related apparatus are provided. The audio encoding method includes: determining a channel combination scheme for a current frame; when the channel combination scheme for the current frame is different from a channel combination scheme for a previous frame, performing segmented time-domain downmix processing on left and right channel signals in the current frame based on the channel combination scheme for the current frame and the channel combination scheme for the previous frame, to obtain a primary channel signal and a secondary channel signal in the current frame; and encoding the obtained primary channel signal and secondary channel signal in the current frame.

    Abstract: A multi-channel signal encoding method includes determining a downmixed signal of a first channel signal and a second channel signal in a multi-channel signal, and reverberation gain parameters corresponding to different subbands of the first channel signal and the second channel signal, where the obtained reverberation gain parameters are belonging to at least two reverberation gain parameter groups. The method further includes selecting, from the at least two reverberation gain parameter groups, a target reverberation gain parameter group. The method further includes generating parameter indication information, where the parameter indication information indicates the target reverberation gain parameter group. The method further includes encoding reverberation gain parameters corresponding to the target reverberation gain parameter group, the parameter indication information, and the downmixed signal to obtain a bitstream.

    Abstract: In a method to decode signals, a computing device decodes spectral coefficients of a current frame are grouped into a plurality of sub-bands. The computing device classifies a sub-band as a bit allocation unsaturated sub-band based on an average quantity of allocated bits per spectral coefficient of a sub-band of the plurality of sub-bands and a threshold. The computing device obtains a noise filling gain based on an envelope of the sub-band, and obtains a reconstructed spectral coefficient of the sub-band by performing noise filling based on the noise filling gain. The computing device then obtains a frequency domain audio signal based on spectral coefficients in the sub-band obtained by decoding and the reconstructed spectral coefficient.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus are provided for reconstructing a noise component of a speech/audio signal. A bitstream is received and decoded to obtain a speech/audio signal. A first speech/audio signal is determined according to the speech/audio signal. A symbol of each sample value in the first speech/audio signal and an amplitude value of each sample value in the first speech/audio signal is determined. An adaptive normalization length and an adjusted amplitude value of each sample value are determined according to the adaptive normalization length and the amplitude value of each sample value. A second speech/audio signal is determined according to the symbol of each sample value and the adjusted amplitude value of each sample value.
