Abstract: A computer system causes output of audio information from a first application to a set of one or more audio output devices in accordance with a first audio output mode previously selected for the first application using a system audio output setting control. After, the computer system receives a request to play audio from a second application different from the first application. In response, the computer system causes output of audio information from the second application to the set of one or more audio output devices, including, in accordance with a determination that a second audio output mode, different from the first audio output mode, was previously selected for the second application using the system audio output setting control, causing output of the audio information from the second application via the set of one or more audio output devices in accordance with the second audio output mode.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces and techniques for managing audio exposure using a computer system (e.g., an electronic device). In accordance with some embodiments, the electronic device displays a graphical indication of a noise exposure level over a first period of time with an area of the graphical indication that is colored to represent the noise exposure level, the color of the area transitioning from a first color to a second color when the noise exposure level exceeds a first threshold. In accordance with some embodiments, the electronic device displays noise exposure levels attributable to a first output device type and a second output device type and, in response to selecting a filtering affordance, visually distinguishes a set of noise exposure levels attributable to the second output device type.

Abstract: A wearable audio output device is in communication with a first device and with a second device that is different from the first device. While outputting first audio from the first device, the wearable audio output device receives a first input corresponding to a request to output second audio from the second device; and, in response to receiving the first input: in accordance with a determination that the second audio from the second device satisfies audio priority criteria with respect to the first audio from the first device, the wearable audio output device: ceases to output the first audio from the first device; outputs the second audio from the second device; and causes the first device to display a first alert indicating that the first audio from the first device is not being output by the wearable audio output device.

Abstract: A wearable audio output device in a physical environment includes an input device and one or more microphones. While ambient sound from the physical environment is being detected by the microphone(s), the wearable audio output device: while in a first mode, provides a first audio output including one or more pass-through audio components selected so as to increase audio pass-through of the ambient sound; detects an input via the input device; in response to detecting the input, and in accordance with a determination that the input is a first type of gesture, transitions from the first mode to a second mode; and, while in the second mode, provides a second audio output including one or more cancellation audio components selected so as to increase audio cancellation of the ambient sound.

The method includes displaying, on the display, a playback status indicator regarding playback of a media item. In response to a first portion of the input, the method includes adjusting the appearance of the image on the display in accordance with the first portion of the input. Abstract: The techniques utilize a user's recommendation data to choose a presentation template. Each presentation template includes a plurality of media asset slots, each of which is associated with a certain type of media asset. For example, each media asset slot generally may be assigned to a playlist, album, composer, or music video. Further, each of these general assignments may further specify that the playlist, album, composer, or music video be from a known artist, familiar artist, recommended artist, or unknown artist, for example. Once the appropriate presentation template has been chosen along with the recommended media content for each of the plurality of media asset slots, the media asset slots are associated with the selected media content. The presentation template is then utilized to generate a graphical user interface that may be delivered to the display of an electronic device for presentation to a user, where the order in which the recommended media content is presented via the graphical user interface corresponds to the order of the media asset slots of the chosen presentation template.

Abstract: In some implementations, a computing device can transfer a playback queue between the computing device and a playback device. For example, the computing device can detect when the computing device is within a threshold distance of a playback device. The computing device can establish a connection to the playback device and receive state information describing the media playback state of the playback device. The computing device can determine the media playback state of the computing device. The computing device can present graphical user interfaces for initiating a transfer of a playback queue between the computing device and the playback device based on the playback state of the devices. The computing device can initiate a transfer of the playback queue in response to user input to one of the graphical user interfaces or automatically based on the context of the computing device.
