    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. a first donor node may serve a relay node, which in turn may serve a child node. The first donor node may determine to transfer (e.g., via a handover procedure) the relay node to a second donor node. The first donor node may transmit a first context transfer request for the relay node to the second donor node, and may transmit a second context transfer request for the child node of the relay node to the second donor node. The first donor node may indicate a correlation between the two context transfers. The second donor node may identify the correlated context transfers, and may successfully perform a migration procedure for the relay node and any descendent devices or nodes based on the correlated context transfers.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network, a wireless node may receive an indication of a conditional handover configuration from a relay node. The conditional handover procedure may specify a set of trigger conditions for a conditional handover procedure supported by the relay node. The indication of the conditional handover may indicate a change of the cell from a first cell identifier to a second cell identifier. The wireless node may determine that a trigger condition of the set of trigger conditions is satisfied. The wireless node may then transmit, to the relay node, a random access message to initiate the conditional handover procedure for the cell from the first cell identifier to the second cell identifier.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a wireless node (e.g., gNB or UE) transmits, to a UE, a grant of a set of resources for a first communication between the UE and the wireless node. The wireless node further transmits, to the UE, a conditional grant associated with a set of conditional parameters for a second communication that overrides the grant for some or all of a subset of the set of resources. The UE and/or the wireless node detects a triggering event or an indication of the triggering event for triggering the conditional grant with at least one conditional parameter of the set of conditional parameters. The UE and the wireless node perform the second communication in accordance with the at least one conditional parameter on some or all of the subset of resources based on the detection.

    Abstract: In certain aspects, the disclosure is directed to a user equipment (UE) configured for wireless communications with a network node. The UE may include a memory comprising instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions. In some examples, the UE may transmit, to a network node, an indication of an expected communication. In some examples, the UE may receive, from the network node, updated scheduling in response to the indication of the expected communication. For example, the UE may predict a future sidelink/uplink communication based on whether the UE expects data for a future uplink transmission. If the UE expects that it will have data for a future uplink transmission, the UE may notify the network node so that the network node can enter into a low power state until the future transmission, then provide the UE with a sidelink/uplink grant for the future uplink transmission.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for acquiring location information of an assisting node, such as an assisting transmission and reception point (TRP). The location information may include geographical location information as well as spatial information. The location information may be used to facilitate positioning and other purposes, such as beam management, interference management, and sensing between one or more assisting TRPs and one or more network entities (e.g., a gNodeB (gNB), a user equipment (UE), a central unit (CU), or a distributed unit (DU)). To achieve these purposes, accurate locations of the assisting TRPs are needed.
