    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for receiver-assisted channel access in shared radio frequency spectrum. A receiver, such as a user equipment (UE) may transmit a measurement report to a transmitter, such as an access network entity, that indicates channel occupancy as measured at the receiver. In some cases, the receiver may identify resources for signal measurement and reporting that are configured by the transmitter, and provide an interference measurement report based on the signal measurements. The interference measurement report may indicate whether a channel is occupied, or an occupancy level of the channel. Resources may be configured for multiple beams, with the interference measurement report including interference measurements for the multiple beams. Further, the signal resources may provide resources for a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure, through signal resource sets that span multiple slots.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a first transmit receive point (TRP), a downlink control information (DCI) communication, the UE being included in a multi-TRP configuration with the first TRP and a second TRP. The UE may determine information unique to the first TRP. The information unique to the first TRP may be at least one of associated with the DCI communication or included in the DCI communication. The UE may generate a downlink scrambling sequence initialization code, associated with the first TRP, based at least in part on the information unique to the first TRP. The UE may generate a downlink scrambling sequence, associated with the first TRP, based at least in part on the downlink scrambling sequence initialization code associated with the first TRP. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a mapping between a plurality of sets of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes and a corresponding plurality of HARQ process types. The UE may configure one or more HARQ processes of the UE based at least in part on the indication. In some aspects, a base station may transmit, to a UE, an indication of a mapping between a plurality of sets of HARQ processes and a corresponding plurality of HARQ process types.     Abstract: Aspects directed towards communications for random access procedures are disclosed. In one example, a first beam and a second beam may be available for communications between a scheduled entity and a scheduling entity. The scheduling entity may send, and the scheduled entity may receive, a message 1 transmission for a random access procedure on the first beam. The scheduled entity may open a random access response (RAR) window to monitor for a message 2 transmission according to a predetermined sequence designating whether to monitor the first beam, the second beam, or some combination thereof. The scheduling entity may send, and the scheduled entity may receive, the message 2 transmission on the first beam or the second beam as designated by the predetermined sequence.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently identifying a receive beam for performing a listen before talk (LBT) procedure in an attempt to gain access to a transmission opportunity (TxOP) in a shared radio frequency spectrum. In particular, a wireless device may select a receive beam that corresponds to one or more transmit beams to be used in a TxOP to perform an LBT procedure in an attempt to gain access to the TxOP. In one example, the wireless device may select a receive beam for performing an LBT procedure based on the energy of each of the transmit beams to be used in a TxOP. In another example, the wireless device may select a receive beam for performing an LBT procedure if the receive beam is quasi co-located with each of the transmit beams to be used in a TxOP.
