Convection losses associated with different temperature profiles in the pulse tubes and regenerators of multi-stage pulse tubes mounted in helium gas in the neck tube of a MRI cryostat are reduced by providing one or more of thermal bridges, and/or insulating sleeves between one or more pulse tubes and regenerators, and/or spacers, and spacer tubes, in one or more pulse tubes and regenerators.

A data processing device for processing a reference background spectrum and a measurement spectrum of a radioactive material represented by a multichannel spectrum to acquire energy region information of detected gamma rays is provided, said data processing device comprising: energy region dividing means for degenerating said multichannel spectrum into a degenerated spectrum of limited channels, each degenerated spectrum representing an energy region; degenerated spectrum calculating means for calculating a background degenerated spectrum and measurement degenerated spectrum based on said background spectrum and said measurement spectrum corresponding to said degenerated spectrum of limited channels respectively; energy ratio calculating means for calculating a energy ratio based on the calculated background degenerated spectrum and measurement degenerated spectrum; peak-detection means, for searching a peak value in the calculated energy ratios; energy region determining means for determining a corresponding energy region of said gamma rays based on the searched peak value in the energy ratios. A corresponding radiation detection method and a radiation detection system employing the data processing device are also provided.
Abstract:
In a binocular steroscopic scanning radiographic imaging method, X-rays emitted by the same radiation source are used. The X-rays pass through a double-slit collimator to form two X-ray beam sectors, which are symmetric or asymmetric and have an angle between them. The X-ray beam sectors, after penetrating through an object under detection, are received by the left and right detector array, respectively, then converted into electric signals to be inputted to the respective image acquisition systems, and received by a computer processing system for image processing and displaying. A system corresponding to the method comprises a radiation source, a beam controller, two mutually connected arms of detector arrays, image acquisition systems connected respectively to each of the detector arrays and a computer processing system. The present invention can display the transmission images detected by each of the detector arrays as well as tomograms with different depth reconstructed from the transmission images according to the principle of parallax. The present invention is convenient, fast in detection and realizes with low cost the recognition of objects of different depths.

By understanding a website author's intention through an analysis of the function of a website, website content can be adapted for presentation or rendering in a manner that more closely appreciates and respects the function behind the website. A website's function is analyzed so that its content can be adapted to different client environments. A function-based object model (FOM) identifies objects associated with a website, and analyzes those objects in terms of their functions. Desktop oriented websites are adapted for mobile devices based on the FOM and on a mobile control intermediary language.

The method disclosed in the invention comprises setting a plurality of subcarrier position hypotheses for a received preamble according to a plurality of ideal subcarrier positions and the maximum amount of integer carrier frequency offset (ICFO), generating a plurality of preamble pattern hypotheses by retrieving the received preamble according to the subcarrier position hypotheses, calculating the correlation between the preamble pattern hypotheses and a plurality of specified preamble patterns, determining to which sector the received preamble belongs according to a correct preamble pattern, the specified preamble pattern having the highest correlation with the preamble pattern hypotheses, obtaining a correct subcarrier position according to the sector to which the received preamble belongs; and estimating the ICFO by calculating the offset between the correct subcarrier position and the subcarrier position hypothesis of the preamble pattern hypothesis having the highest correlation with the correct preamble pattern.

A system and method for aggressive loop parallelization using speculative execution is disclosed. The method may include transforming code of a target application for concurrent execution, which may include adding an instruction to create a global address table entry for each store operation on which a load operation of a different loop iteration is dependent. The method may include replacing a standard load instruction with a special instruction configured to determine if an operand address of the load matches an operand address in one of the global address table entries. Another special instruction may remove a table entry following execution of the corresponding store operation. If an operand address of a load of a currently executing thread matches an operand address in the global address table, the method may include setting a checkpoint, completing execution of the thread in a pre-fetch mode, and re-executing the thread from the checkpoint.

This invention provides an improved means of quickly warming a pulse tube (165) by shifting the phase relation of flow to the warm end of the pulse tube relative to flow to the warm end (117) of the pulse tube relative to flow to the warm end of the regenerator (160) using a “four valve” concept and the “active buffer” concept. Several different pulse tube configurations and valve timing relations that are effective at reversing the cycle from the normal mode, which produces cooling at the pulse tube heat station, to a reverse mode that produces heating are disclosed.

A foldable signal transmission cable assembly includes parallelly extended first and second cables, which are connected at opposite first and second ends by transverse first and second connecting sections, respectively, and have first and second connectors provided at the first end of the first cable and at the second end of the first or the second cable, respectively, to electrically connect to signal lines provided on the first and second cables and the first and second connecting sections. The first and second connecting sections may be bent along folding lines provided at middle points thereof, so as to turn and locate the second cable below the first cable. The first and second cables may be formed from a single-side, a double-side, a multisided, or a multilayer substrate, and may include a cluster section.
