Abstract: Methods of fabricating semiconductor devices are provided. An NMOS transistor and a PMOS transistor are provided on a substrate. The NMOS transistor is positioned on an NMOS region of the substrate and the PMOS transistor is positioned on a PMOS region of the substrate. A first insulating layer is provided on the NMOS transistor. The first insulating layer has a first compressive stress. A second insulating layer is provided on the PMOS transistor. The second insulating layer has a second compressive stress and a stress relief ratio higher than a stress relief ratio of the first insulating layer. A thermal treatment process is performed on the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer such that the second compressive stress of the second insulating layer is lower than the first compressive stress of the first insulating layer. Related devices are also provided.

Abstract: A method for controlling an operation of a compressor and its apparatus can easily control an operation of the compressor without a request for a high-priced operation control apparatus by operating the compressor with controlling the amount of currents flowing into a winding coil of a motor (100) of the compressor according to load capacity of the refrigerator. The apparatus includes a control unit (103) for generating a control signal for selecting a main winding coil (M) of a linear motor (100) of a compressor or an auxiliary winding coil (M2) on the basis of the load capacity of a refrigerator, and a switching unit (101) for selecting the main winding coil (M) of the linear motor (100) or the auxiliary winding coil (M2) on the basis of the control signal. Herein, the main winding coil of the linear motor (100) is divided into a plurality of auxiliary winding coils (M2).

Abstract: This invention relates to a user authenticating system and a method using aone-time fingerprint template. The system and the method according to the invention are improvements of the conventional user authentication based on the manner of comparing the fingerprint feature data only, for the purpose of preventing a false authentication by misusing fingerprint feature data, if exposed in the course of transfer thereof. In the system and the method according to the invention, fingerprint feature data of a user are combined with an OTT key transferred from a server. The combined result is encoded and transferred to an authenticating server. The authenticating server then confirms validity of the OTT key and authenticates the user based on the fingerprint. Thus, the present invention has an advantage of preventing a false authentication through hacking, etc., even if the OTT key is exposed to a network, because the OTT key is used only once for authentication.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of producing paste containing flaky aluminum powder, which is the main ingredient of the topcoat paint for automobiles. The present invention is intended to provide a production method, which is more economical than the conventional method of using the gas-atomozied powders. In particular, a vessel is charged with by-product scraps from the production process of aluminum foil, balls, mineral spirits, and an unsaturated fatty acid, such as oleic acid. Under such conditions, the ball-milling is carried out to yield an intermediate paste containing flaky aluminum powder, which is then made into aluminum paste by adjusting the amount of a solvent.
