    摘要： A banknote container for automated teller machines includes a base, two mutually parallel side walls, rear wall, front wall, cover and pressure-exerting slide, arranged in the bottom container part such that it can be adjusted parallel to the side walls. Arranged on the pressure-exerting slide is a switch for controlling a display device. The switching element interacts with a switch-actuating track provided on the container base, extends parallel to the adjustment direction of the pressure-exerting slide and defines a switching point between two switching states which corresponds to a remaining-quantity-signaling position of the pressure-exerting slide, one switching state corresponding to the adjustment path of the pressure-exerting slide between the remaining-quantity-signaling position and an end position near the rear wall, and the other switching state corresponding to the adjustment path of the pressure-exerting slide between the remaining-quantity-signaling position and an end position in the vicinity of the front wall.

    摘要： A method of packaging print media in combination with a printing device enables the printing device to automatically determine the type of media, and its characteristics and attributes, loaded in a media input tray. The print media package includes a pre-cut or perforated line which allows the removal of one end of the package forming a partial package exposing one end of sheets of the print media and encasing the print media. The print media is loaded in the media input tray encased in the partial package with the exposed ends of the print media sheets accessible to the printing device feed roller. The print media package includes an identifying code imprinted on an outside surface of the package located on the remaining portion of the package when the package end has been removed. The media input tray includes a sensor mounted in a location accessible to the identifying code when the print media encased in the partial package is loaded in the media input tray. When the loaded media input tray is inserted in the printing device, the sensor reads the identifying code and transmits the encoded information to the printing device control circuitry where the printing device media settings are updated.

There is a loading opening through which the thermal printer component is supplied with the recording sheet. Plural guiding projections position the recording sheet in the loading opening. A recording sheet package includes a packaging case for containing a stack of plural recording sheets with looseness. The loading opening is loadable with the packaging case. A package outlet is formed in the packaging case for passage of each recording sheet, and set directed toward the thermal printer component. Plural cutouts are formed in a periphery of the packaging case, and receive the guiding projections. Blocking portions of a blocking frame are disposed inside the packaging case, and close the cutouts. The blocking portions are shiftable inwards from the cutouts by the guiding projections.

A loading engaging cutout is formed in the packaging body, and when the packaging body is set in an acceptable orientation relative to the printer, is engaged with a loading guiding projection of the printer, and allows mounting the packaging body on the printer. When the packaging body is set in an orientation different from the acceptable orientation, the loading guiding projection inhibits the packaging body by interference from being mounted on the printer.

    摘要： A recording sheet package containing a pile of recording sheets in a box-shaped casing. The casing has a paper feed-out opening formed in one end thereof, and a feed roller entrance formed through a top wall of the casing in connection to the paper feed-out opening, for allowing feed rollers to access a topmost one of the piled recording sheets. The recording sheets are piled up on the movable bottom plate that is disposed on a bottom wall of the casing, so as to be able to flap up and down relative to the bottom wall. A push-up plate entrance is formed through the bottom wall in connection to the paper feed-out opening, for allowing a push-up plate of a paper feeding cassette to push up the movable bottom plate and press the topmost recording sheet onto the feed roller. A pressing plate is disposed under the top wall so as to be able to flap up and down relative to the top wall. The pressing plate presses the pile of recording sheets onto the movable bottom plate, so the pile of recording sheets is tightly held between these members. The casing is made from a cardboard paper having a moisture tight polymeric layer formed on one side thereof, such that the moisture tight polymeric layer is oriented outward of the casing.
