    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In one example, a method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) includes identifying that the UE is in carrier aggregation communication with a first cell having a first sub-carrier spacing and a second cell having a second, different sub-carrier spacing. The method may further include monitoring one or more UE-specific search spaces of the first cell for first control information scheduling a first data communication on the first cell and one or more UE-specific search spaces of the first cell or the second cell for second control information scheduling a second data communication on the first cell, and resolving a scheduling order of the first control information scheduling the first data communication and the second control information scheduling the second data communication based at least in part on the monitoring and on a scheduling condition.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support an index modulation (IM)-based acknowledgement codebook so use with sidelink feedback. In a first aspect, a first UE receives at least one sidelink transmission from a second UE with a sidelink control information (SCI) message that triggers least one IM-based feedback message codebook. The first UE may determine an IM-based feedback message sequence, determine, based on the feedback sequence, a resource for transmission of the IM-based feedback message, wherein a resource index corresponds to the determined feedback message sequence. The first UE may then transmit the IM-based feedback message codebook on the determined resource to the second UE over the sidelink. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to frequency hopping in uplink transmission. A UE may be configured to transmit a first subset of data on a first frequency band to a BS over a first set of symbols. The UE may perform a listen-before-talk (LBT) during an LBT gap comprising a second set of symbols between the first set of symbols and a third set of symbols. The UE may use the LBT in the LBT gap to determine availability of a second frequency sub-band for a second subset of data that is a repetition of the first subset of data. The UE may be configured to transmit the second subset of data on the second frequency band to the BS over a third set of symbols if the LBT passes. Thus, embodiments of the present disclosure enable a UE to perform frequency hopping with repetitions across unlicensed frequency sub-bands.

A first user equipment (UE) may determine that the first UE is to receive a sidelink transmission from a second UE, the sidelink transmission comprising a sidelink control channel and a sidelink data channel. The first UE may receive, based at least in part on a first resource configuration for a sidelink feedback channel failing to satisfy a resource threshold associated with transmitting a feedback message, an indication of a second resource configuration from the second UE, the second resource configuration for transmitting the feedback message to the second UE for the sidelink transmission, the second resource configuration satisfying the resource threshold.
