Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may transmit configuration information associated with identifying a plurality of sets of random access channel (RACH) occasions (ROs), wherein a first set of ROs, of the plurality of sets of ROs, is associated with a first set of parameters for a low-resolution analog to digital converter (ADC) and a first mode of the network node, and a second set of ROs, of the plurality of sets of ROs, is associated with a second set of parameters for a high-resolution ADC and a second mode of the network node. The network node may communicate, when operating in a particular mode of the network node, using a particular set of ROs, of the plurality of sets of ROs, associated with the particular mode of the network node. Abstract: A first control node may communicate with a user equipment (UE) using an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network, and a second control node may manage a configuration of the IAB network. The second control node may not have the information needed to configure the IAB network, such as quality of service (QoS) information associated with a data radio bearer (DRB) used for communications between the first control node and the UE, and thus may not be able to configure a user plane interface tunnel and/or a radio link control (RLC) channel to assist with satisfying the QoS level. Some techniques and apparatuses described herein enable the second control node to receive QoS information associated with setting up a user plane interface tunnel between the first control node and an IAB node that serves a UE for which the user plane interface tunnel is being set up.

A first wireless node may receive, at a mobile termination unit of the first wireless node, an indication of transmission of a first paging message to a second wireless node by a third wireless node. The indication may be received from a distributed unit of the third wireless node. A distributed unit of the first wireless node may transmit, based on receive the indication of transmission of the first paging message, a second paging message to the second wireless node. Receiving the indication of the first paging message may include receiving, by the mobile termination unit of the first wireless node, the first paging message that is transmitted to the second wireless node.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may determine to operate in accordance with an energy saving mode in which the base station only transmits remaining minimum system information (RMSI) on-demand or reduces transmission of RMSI with respect to when the base station is operating outside of the energy saving mode. A user equipment (UE) may detect the base station that is operating in an energy saving mode. The UE may transmit a request for the base station to transmit the RMSI to the UE, where the UE may transmit the request to the energy saving base station or to a serving base station of the UE. The UE may receive, from the base station operating in the energy saving mode and responsive to the request, a message including the remaining minimum system information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A central unit (CU) function of a base station may identify a first set of user equipment (UE) to communicate via sidelink communications with a distributed unit associated with the central unit. The CU function may determine, based at least in part on the distributed unit being an integrated access and backhaul provider to the first set of UE, a first configuration for the distributed unit to use for sidelink communications with the first set of UE, the first configuration different than a second configuration for one or more nodes associated with the base station to use for sidelink communications with a second set of UE in communication with the base station. The CU function may provide an indication of the first configuration to the distributed unit.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support network controlled repeater operation at new radio—unlicensed (NRU) bands. The network controlled repeater operations include receipt of a scheduling message from a serving base station that identifies an amplify and forward (AF) window and an offset prior to a beginning of the AF window. The relay node performs a listen before talk (LBT) procedure on a shared communication channel within the offset. In response to the result of the LBT, the relay node either refrains from AF operations within the AF window in response to failure of the LBT procedure or performs the AF operations on all received signals during the AF window in response to success of the LBT procedure. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

A control node may transmit, to a first relay node, an indication to communicate according to a first resource configuration of a set of resource configurations, where each resource configuration of the set is associated with a respective resource block set and a respective time domain pattern. In some examples, each time domain pattern may indicate, for each symbol of a respective set of symbols associated with each time domain pattern, a resource type associated with availability of each symbol for communication by the first relay node with a second relay node. The first relay node may communicate according to the first resource configuration based on receiving the indication to communicate according to the first resource configuration.
