Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communication. The techniques include a method wireless communication by a user equipment including receiving a configuration message, wherein the configuration message in part configures the UE to communicate coordinated transmissions with a plurality of transmission reception points using a coordinated transmission mode. The method further includes, receiving one or more physical downlink shared channel transmissions from a plurality of transmission reception points in accordance with the coordinated transmission mode. The method further includes, selecting a HARQ-ACK feedback mode based in part on the coordinated transmission mode. The method further includes, transmitting HARQ-ACK feedback to at least one of the plurality of transmission reception points using the selected HARQ-ACK feedback mode.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a base station as part of a wireless communications system. The UE may identify a configuration for one or more repetitions of an uplink control channel transmission, where each repetition of the one or more repetitions including a first quantity of symbols indicated by the configuration. The UE may determine a quantity of resource blocks for each repetition of the one or more repetitions. The UE may then identify that a second quantity of symbols is available to the UE to transmit a repetition of the one or more repetitions, and the second quantity of symbols may be less than the first quantity of symbols. The UE may transmit, to a base station, the repetition on the using the quantity of resource blocks for each repetition with the first quantity of symbols.

Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow for multiplexing of higher priority uplink transmissions with lower priority uplink transmissions while maintaining URLLC of the higher priority uplink transmission. A UE receives from a base station information including resources for first and second uplink data, where at least a portion of the resources for the first and second uplink data overlap in time. The first and second uplink data are associated with different priority levels. The UE determines whether to multiplex the uplink data based on a transmission timing difference between a scheduled transmission time and a multiplexed transmission time for the second uplink data on the respective resources. The base station makes a similar determination. If the transmission timing difference fails to meet a delay threshold, multiplexing is performed; otherwise, the lower priority transmission is dropped. Thus, different priority multiplexing may occur in low latency situations, satisfying URLLC.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for configuring group indices for uplink transmissions from a user equipment (UE) such that the UE may be able to determine whether to combine uplink transmissions scheduled on overlapping time resources. Specifically, the UE may combine uplink transmissions associated with a same group index for transmission in a single channel, and the UE may avoid combining uplink transmissions associated with different group indices. In some cases, the indication of a group index associated with an uplink transmission from a UE may be explicit (e.g., provided in a downlink control information (DCI) message), and, in other cases, the indication of a group index associated with an uplink transmission from a UE may be implicit (e.g., corresponding to a resource allocated for the uplink transmission).

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to wireless communication systems, and more particularly, to a design for generating and utilizing orthogonal cover code (OCC) sequences for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmissions. An exemplary method includes a user equipment (UE) selecting an orthogonal cover code (OCC) sequence for an uplink transmission, wherein the OCC sequence is selected from a first set of OCC sequences designed to achieve target peak to average power ratios (PAPRs) for a plurality of different modulation schemes; and transmitting the uplink transmission, via a wireless medium, with one of the modulation schemes using the selected OCC sequence.

The method includes determining one or more priority levels associated with the one or more transmission resources. The method includes transmitting the one or more SRs using the determined one or more transmission resources based on the associated priority levels.

Abstract: Techniques for peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction are described. Wireless devices may use one or more PAPR shaping resources, such as expanded bandwidth and/or pulse-shaping filtering, for shaping a signal to reduce PAPR. For example, expanded bandwidth may be utilized for adding a cyclic affix (CA), such as may comprise a cyclic prefix (CP), cyclic suffix (CS), etc., and combinations thereof, to a frequency domain data signal to provide a CP augmented frequency domain data signal used to generate a reduced PAPR time domain data signal. Additionally or alternatively, pulse-shaping filtering may be applied to a frequency domain signal to provide a pulse-shaped frequency domain data signal used to generate a reduced PAPR time domain data signal. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

The UE may generate a plurality of codebooks corresponding to the plurality of first orthogonal matrices. The UE may transmit a first portion the payload using a first sequence from a first codebook of the plurality of codebooks and a second portion of the payload using a second codebook of the plurality of codebooks.

Abstract: Aspects are provided allowing UEs with non-coherent or partially coherent antennas to re-interpret TPMI received in DCI into a set of TPMIs corresponding to different subbands. The UE receives a TPMI associated with at least one first antenna and at least one second antenna which are non-coherent with each other, and the UE determines a set of TPMIs including a first and second TPMI based on the received TPMI. The set of TPMIs include at least one TPMI different from the received TPMI. The UE transmits, based on the first TPMI, from the at least one first antenna within at least one first subband. The UE also transmits, based on the second TPMI, from the at least one second antenna within at least one second subband different from the at least one first subband. Thus, full power transmission based on re-interpreted TPMI with reduced DCI overhead may result.
