    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for available slot counting for slots with subband full duplex (SBFD) and non-SBFD symbols. An example method, performed at a user equipment (UE), generally includes receiving an indication of whether available slot counting is enabled when the UE is configured to transmit or receive multiple repetitions on at least one physical channel, receiving signaling scheduling the UE to transmit or receive multiple repetitions on the at least one physical channel, wherein at least one of the repetitions is scheduled to occur in at least one slot that has multiple different types of symbols within that slot, and processing one or more repetitions on the physical channel, based on the indication and signaling, wherein the processing involves performing available slot counting and determining whether to transmit or receive a repetition on the physical channel in the at least one slot.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first configuration that indicates a set of symbols associated with subband full duplex (SBFD) operation. The set of symbols may include a first subset of downlink symbols, a second subset of flexible symbols, a third subset of uplink symbols, or a combination thereof. The second subset of flexible symbols may be associated with an uplink subband. The UE may receive a second configuration associated with monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH). The UE may receive downlink control information (DCI), based on monitoring the PDCCH, which may include a slot format indicator (SFI) that indicates flexible symbols of the second subset of flexible symbols as uplink or downlink, or a combination thereof. The UE may perform wireless communication based on the first configuration, the second configuration, or the DCI, or a combination thereof.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a channel state information (CSI) resource configuration indicating a linked pair of CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) resources for sub-band full duplex (SBFD) symbols, the linked pair of CSI-RS resources including a first CSI-RS resource on a first downlink sub-band and a second CSI-RS resource on a second downlink sub-band. The UE may receive a first CSI-RS in the first CSI-RS resource on the first downlink sub-band and a second CSI-RS in the second CSI-RS resource on the second downlink sub-band. The UE may transmit a CSI report including at least one CSI metric associated with measurements of the first CSI-RS and the second CSI-RS. Numerous other aspects are described.
