Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) for multiple beam transmissions. In an example, a first CSI-RS triggering state of one or more CSI-RS triggering states indicates a CSI-RS resource set and associated transmission configuration indication (TCI) states. The CSI-RS resource set includes a plurality of CSI-RS resources. Each CSI-RS resource of the plurality of CSI-RS resources is associated with one or more corresponding TCI states as indicated by the first CSI-RS triggering state. A first CSI-RS resource of the plurality of CSI-RS resources is associated with a first plurality of TCI states as indicated by the first CSI-RS triggering state.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates in first and second search space (SS) sets may be located in a same slot. When both SS sets have the same periodicity and the same offset, the UE may determine that SS sets are linked. The UE may expect the same number of monitoring occasions for each SS set within the slot, and may determine that a monitoring occasion in the first SS set having a first index value is linked with a monitoring occasion in the second SS set that has the same index value. The UE may determine that monitoring occasions for the different SS sets that have the same periodicity but different offsets are located in different slots, and that rules are satisfied such that a first PDCCH repetition is located in an earlier slot than the second PDDCH repetition.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a mapping between a plurality of sets of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes and a corresponding plurality of HARQ process types. The UE may configure one or more HARQ processes of the UE based at least in part on the indication. In some aspects, a base station may transmit, to a UE, an indication of a mapping between a plurality of sets of HARQ processes and a corresponding plurality of HARQ process types. The base station may select a HARQ process, of the plurality of HARQ processes, to be used for a communication with the UE based at least in part on the mapping. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to beam sweep based semi-persistent signaling (SPS) or configured grant (CG) activation. In one aspect, a network entity may determine a beam sweep pattern for at least one of a SPS based downlink periodic transmission, an uplink control transmission for the SPS based downlink periodic transmission, or a CG based uplink periodic transmission. The network entity may further transmit an indication including the beam sweep pattern to a user equipment (UE). In another aspect, a UE may receive a beam sweep pattern for at least one of a SPS based downlink periodic transmission, an uplink control transmission for the SPS based downlink periodic transmission, or a CG based uplink periodic transmission from a network entity.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling configuring the UE with a set of frequency resources and a semi-persistent resource allocation indicating a semi-persistent resource occasion on each frequency resource of the set. The UE may monitor semi-persistent resource occasions on each of the set of frequency resources for a copy of a data transmission. If the UE receives and decodes the data transmission from at least one of the semi-persistent resource occasions, the UE may transmit an acknowledgement message on a frequency resource of the set. Additionally, the UE may refrain from transmitting a feedback message on the other frequency resources of the set. If the UE does not receive and successfully decode the data transmission from any of the semi-persistent resource occasions, the UE may transmit a negative acknowledgement message on one of the set of frequency resources.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for performing radio link monitoring (RLM) and radio link failure procedures in multiple-TRP (mTRP) communications, wherein the first TRP is part of a first cell group comprising the first TRP and one or more additional TRPs. The techniques include a method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE), comprising establishing a plurality of radio links between the UE and a first transmission reception point (TRP) and a second TRP, determining an RLM resource of a first radio link of the plurality of radio links, monitoring the first radio link according to the determined RLM resource, detecting an RLF of the first radio link, determining that the first TRP is associated with the RLF of the first radio link based on the RLM resource of the first radio link, and transmitting an RLF notification indicating the RLF of the first radio link.

Abstract: A configuration is disclosed to enable a UE to determine and/or prepare Rx beams prior to downlink reception in multi-TRP operation. The apparatus sends, to a first TRP, a report indicating a plurality of threshold scheduled offsets. Each threshold scheduled offset associated with a different number of TCI states. The apparatus receives, from the first TRP, DCI including a TCI and a time-offset. The TCI comprising at least one TCI state. Each TCI state indicating a Tx beam for a TRP of a set of TRPs. The set of TRPs including the first TRP. The apparatus determines at least one Rx beam based on at least one of the received TCI, the time-offset, or one or more of the plurality of threshold scheduled offsets. The apparatus receives, based on the received time-offset, a PDSCH from each TRP of the set of TRPs through the determined at least one Rx beam.

In some implementations, a method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) is described that includes identifying that the UE is in carrier aggregation communication with a primary and secondary cell. The method may also include monitoring, during one or more time intervals, UE-specific search spaces of the secondary cell for control information scheduling data communications on the primary cell. The method may include switching, during one or more different time intervals, to monitoring UE-specific search spaces of the primary cell. Another method describes wireless communication at a base station that may configure a UE to communicate via carrier aggregation, transmit control information via the secondary cell to the UE during downlink TTIs, and transmit control information via the primary cell to the UE during uplink TTIs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with a control resource set (CORESET) with multiple transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. The UE may determine TCI state configurations for one or more search space sets associated with the CORESET, where different search space sets associated with the CORESET may have different TCI state configurations. For example, each search space set may be associated with a first TCI state of the CORESET, a second TCI state of the CORESET, or both. The UE may monitor for downlink control information (DCI) messages in physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates of the search space sets according to respective TCI state configurations for the search space sets. Such a configuration may flexibly support a base station transmitting DCI using different TCI state configurations in PDCCH candidates of a single CORESET.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may monitor for downlink control information (DCI) among a plurality of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates that are associated with each other, the plurality of PDCCH candidates including at least a first PDCCH candidate in a first transmission time period and a last PDCCH candidate in a second transmission time period. The UE may identify a reference timing rule based at least in part on the association between the plurality of PDCCH candidates, the reference timing rule indicating that a reference time is to be determined based at least in part on either the first transmission time period or the second transmission time period. The UE may determine the reference time based at least in part on the reference timing rule and communicate based at least in part on the reference time.
