Abstract: Aspects relate to communication using multiple antenna panels. A first user equipment (UE) may use an antenna panel of a second UE for receiving and/or transmitting data. For example, a network entity may schedule a transmission to the first UE where a first transmit receive point (TRP) transmits data to a first antenna panel of the first UE via a first TRP and simultaneously transmits data to a second antenna panel of the second UE via a second TRP, whereby the second UE forwards the data it receives to the first UE. The first UE may send antenna panel information to the network entity for scheduling a multi-panel transmission or reception for the first UE. The first UE may send a request to the second UE to forward data for a multi-panel transmission or reception.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a fixed frame period (FFP) configured for the UE in a frame based equipment mode. The FFP configured for the UE includes one or more idle periods and a channel occupancy time that is offset from an FFP configured for a base station communicating with the UE over an unlicensed channel. The UE may refrain from transmitting over the unlicensed channel during the one or more idle periods. The one or more idle periods may at least partially overlap with a time period in which the base station refrains from transmitting over the unlicensed channel. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to indicate to a base station a distribution of transmit antennas and receive antennas across a set of antenna panels, and the base station may configure resource sets for reference signal transmissions from the antenna panels based on the indicated distribution. In a first example, the UE may be configured to indicate a respective number of transmit antennas and receive antennas at each antenna panel. In a second example, the UE may be configured to indicate a sum of transmit antennas and a sum of receive antennas across all antenna panels, along with information on how the transmit antennas and receive antennas are distributed. Based on the indication, the base station may configure resource sets for reference signal transmission on sets of ports in resources of the resource sets.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter node may determine a set of desired transmit beams to use for transmissions during a channel occupancy time (COT), wherein each transmit beam in the set of desired transmit beams is associated with an energy detection threshold (EDT). The transmitter node may configure a sensing beam associated with a directional listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure, wherein the sensing beam is associated with an EDT that is at least as strict as a strictest EDT associated with the set of desired transmit beams. The transmitter node may transmit using the set of desired transmit beams during the COT, wherein the COT is initiated based at least in part on an indication that the directional LBT procedure succeeded using the sensing beam.
