The HMD includes a camera unit configured to capture an image; a display unit configured to display an information image; and a processor configured to control the camera unit and the display unit, wherein the processor is further configured to: detect an object using the camera unit, wherein the object has a staring state in which the object substantially stares at a wearer wearing the HMD and an unstaring state in which the object does not substantially stares at the wearer, display a first information image when the object in the staring state is detected, display a second information image when the object in the unstaring state is detected, and wherein the first information image includes at least one of a different amount of displayed information from the second information image and a different displaying location from the second information image.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a control method of a flexible display device, the method including sensing a state of the flexible display device, detecting touch input at a first position of the flexible display device, correcting position information, regarding the touch input detected at the first position, to a second position when the flexible display device is in a flat state, and correcting position information, regarding the touch input detected at the first position, to a third position when the flexible display device is in a first bent state, a distance between the first position and the third position being less than a distance between the first position and the second position.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a portable device and a control method thereof for convenient and accurate dimming control. The portable device includes a foldable display unit, a state sensor unit to detect folded and unfolded states of the foldable display unit, an input sensor unit to sense user input and a processor to control the respective units. The processor converts the portable device from a first dimming mode to a second dimming mode upon detection of change of the foldable display unit from the unfolded state to the folded state, perform dimming of the foldable display unit based on a dimming time different with the second dimming time when the user input is sensed in the second dimming mode within a second dimming time, and performs dimming of the foldable display unit after the second dimming time has passed when the user input is not sensed in the second dimming mode within the second dimming time.
Abstract:
A foldable display device and method for controlling the foldable display device are discussed. The method includes detecting a state of a foldable display unit, the foldable display unit being in a folded state when the foldable display device is folded and being in an unfolded state when the foldable display device is unfolded, the foldable display unit being divided into a first area which is a border area, a second area which is a folding area and a third area located between the first area and the second area; and deactivating a touch sensor unit of the first area and activating touch sensor units of the second area and the third area, when the foldable display unit is gripped in the unfolded state.
Abstract:
