Abstract: An address verification method and a corresponding apparatus are applied to the field of communication technologies, and in particular, relate to a short-range communication technology. During specific application, a second node receives first information from a first node. The first information includes a first to-be-resolved address and a first resolving key index that are of the first node. The first resolving key index indicates a first resolving key. Then, the second node can determine an identity address of the first node based on the first resolving key index and the first to-be-resolved address. The identity address uniquely identifies the first node. The first to-be-resolved address includes verification information for verifying the first resolving key. The first resolving key corresponds to a first identity address.

Abstract: A connection resume request method includes generating, by a terminal, a new access stratum key; sending, by the terminal to a target base station, a connection resume request message requesting to resume a radio resource control (RRC) connection; receiving, by the terminal, a connection resume rejection message from the target base station, wherein the connection resume rejection message indicates that the resuming of the RRC connection is rejected; and resuming, by the terminal, the new access stratum key to a previous access stratum key, wherein the previous access stratum key is an access stratum key that is used, before the apparatus enters an inactive state, by the terminal and the source base station.

Abstract: A solution for security negotiation during handover of a user equipment (UE) between different radio access technologies is provided. In the solution, the UE receives non-access stratum (NAS) security information and access stratum (AS) security information which are selected by the target system and then performs security negotiation with the target system according to the received NAS security information and AS security information. As such, the UE may obtain the key parameter information of the NAS and AS selected by a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system and perform security negotiation with the LTE system when the UE hands over from a different system, such as a Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (UTRAN), to the LTE system.

Abstract: This application provides an RRC connection resume method and apparatus. In the method, when a terminal moves to a target base station, the target base station may reselect, based on a capability and a requirement of the target base station, a first encryption algorithm and a first integrity protection algorithm that are used when the target base station communicates with the terminal, and send the first encryption algorithm and the first integrity protection algorithm to the terminal. On one hand, a security algorithm used for communication between the terminal and the target base station is flexibly selected. On the other hand, because the base station connected to the terminal changes, communication security can be improved by using a new encryption algorithm and integrity protection algorithm.

Abstract: This application provides a user authentication method and an apparatus. Before establishing, for a terminal device, a session used to transmit service data, an SMF entity receives a session establishment request message; determines, based on the session establishment request message, to perform user authentication on a user using the terminal device; and sends a session establishment message to a UPF entity, where the session establishment message is used to establish a first session for the terminal device, and a session attribute of the first session is: a session used to transmit only a user authentication message. Subsequently, the terminal device and an AAA server transmit the user authentication message through the first session, to complete user authentication.

Encrypted information that is sent by a road side unit is received by the terminal device, where the encrypted information is information encrypted by using the communication key. The encrypted broadcast information is decrypted by the terminal device by using the communication key.
