Abstract: A data transmission method is provided. The method includes: receiving, by user equipment, first information from a radio access device, where the first information indicates different transmission classes corresponding to a plurality of logical channels; determining, by the user equipment based on the first information, a transmission format of uplink data on at least one logical channel corresponding to at least one transmission class in the different transmission classes, and determining a transmission resource in the transmission format; and sending, by the user equipment, the uplink data by using the transmission format and the transmission resource in the transmission format. In this application, different transmission resources are allocated to uplink data on logical channels (LCHs) of different transmission classes, so that different requirements of different uplink data can be met.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to apparatus, methods, and systems for cell selection. One example method includes measuring a received signal communication parameter value of a first cell, determining whether the communication parameter value is greater than a first threshold, if the communication parameter value is less than or equal to the first threshold, obtaining a second threshold, determining whether the communication parameter value is greater than the second threshold, and if the communication parameter value is greater than the second threshold, setting the first cell as a serving cell of a terminal device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a group communication method and an apparatus. A base station is provided, including: a processor, configured to determine to start scheduling PTM transmission in a first cell, where the scheduling PTM transmission is used to enable UE in the first cell to receive data on a scheduling PTM transmission resource; and a transmitter, configured to: send configuration information of the scheduling PTM transmission to the UE in the first cell, where the configuration information is used to enable the UE in the first cell to receive data according to an indication of the configuration information; and send, on the scheduling PTM transmission resource, data according to the indication of the configuration information.

Abstract: A data processing method by a data sending apparatus is described. The method includes receiving a data packet from a PDCP layer, where the data packet is used as an RLC SDU. The method further includes encapsulating the RLC SDU into at least one RLC PDU, where each one of the at least one RLC PDU includes a header and a payload. The payload carries data from a single RLC SDU. It can be learned that a transmit end no longer performs concatenation processing at the RLC layer on the data packet. In this way, concatenation processing at the transmit end is reduced, and processing complexity and processing latency are further reduced. In addition, processing at a receive end also becomes simpler and more efficient.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a paging method, apparatus, and system, so as to implement paging of a UE in an area with relatively poor signal coverage. The UE includes: a receiving unit, configured to receive a broadcast message from a base station; and a determining unit, configured to determine whether the UE is first UE where the determining unit is further configured to: in a case in which it is determined that the UE is the first UE, determine a start PF and a start PO according to the first radio frame parameter; the determining unit is further configured to determine a first subframe set according to the start PF and the start PO; and the receiving unit is further configured to receive, according to the start PF, the start PO, and the first subframe set, a paging message sent by the base station.

Abstract: A subframe processing method and device are disclosed. A terminal can determine a special subframe in a non-contiguous secondary carrier according to a maximum continuous channel occupancy duration and a channel listening duration of the non-contiguous secondary carrier, and a channel occupancy start reference time point and/or a channel listening start reference time point of the non-contiguous secondary carrier that are obtained, where the special subframe includes all or some gap symbols occupied by the channel listening duration, use all symbols except the gap symbols in the special subframe as symbols that can be occupied by a PDCCH and/or a PDSCH, and correspondingly receive or decode the PDCCH and/or the PDSCH in the special subframe according to the symbols that can be occupied by the PDCCH and/or the PDSCH.

Abstract: A method includes: receiving, by a terminal, time-frequency configuration information from a network side, where the time-frequency configuration information is used to indicate a random access channel (RACH) time-frequency resource; receiving, by the terminal, spatial configuration information from the network side, where the spatial configuration information is used to indicate an RACH spatial resource; forming, by the terminal, at least one beam based on the spatial configuration information, and sending, by using the at least one beam, a random access preamble to the network side on all or part of the RACH time-frequency resource indicated by the time-frequency configuration information; and receiving, by the terminal, a random access response (RAR) for the random access preamble from the network side.
