Abstract:
Disclosed are a system and a method of controlling an audio output in a mobile communication terminal, and more particularly to a system and a method of controlling an audio output of mobile communication terminal, wherein when a broadcasting channel is changed, an audio signal of the mobile communication terminal is not outputted for a preset time or in an ineffective channel from which a broadcasting does not come through. The mobile communication terminal having a television function according to an embodiment of the invention is characterized in that when a broadcasting channel is changed, a video signal is outputted and at the same time an audio signal is not outputted by turning off the amplifier for a preset time, and when the preset time lapses, the amplifier is turned on and thus the audio signal is outputted.
Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for storing content, and a method and apparatus for displaying content. The method of displaying content, includes displaying display information representing content, which is stored in a hierarchical information structure based on time information of the content, in the form of timetable; receiving a user input signal for selecting a section providing a piece of display information displayed in the form of time table; and displaying display information, corresponding to a lower layer of the section selected based on the user input signal, in the form of timetable. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce user's inconvenience and time delay caused when a large amount of content is searched for, thereby allowing a user to easily and rapidly detect desired content.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for inputting characters in which one of a plurality of characters can be chosen operate by using directional keys. The plurality of characters are classified into a predetermined number of groups and the directional keys are respectively allocated to the groups. Accordingly, when a user presses one of the directional keys, the characters belonging to the group to which the directional key pressed by the user is allocated can be sequentially chosen by sequentially pressing the directional key.
Abstract:
A flat panel display includes a plurality of pixel anode electrodes arranged in a display area. A plurality of anode electrode lines for supplying a driving current to the pixel anode electrodes are connected at one end to pixel anode electrodes, and at the other to one or more current supply lines of a current supply line assembly. The current supply lines, in turn, are connected to first and second terminals to which the driving current is applied. The current supply line assembly also includes an impedance adjusting means for adjusting impedance of at least one of the first and second supply lines. The impedance adjusting means may be configured as a third separate supply line connected to at least one of the first and second supply lines, and the impedance of the current supply line is adjusted by varying the length or width of the third current supply line.
