Abstract: An electronic device can include a housing defining an aperture, and an electromagnetic radiation emitter and an electromagnetic radiation detector disposed in the housing. An optical component can be disposed in the aperture and can include a first region of a first material having a first index of refraction, the first region aligned with the electromagnetic radiation emitter, a second region of the first material, the second region aligned with the electromagnetic radiation detector, and a bulk region surrounding a periphery of the first region and a periphery of the second region, the bulk region including a second material having a second index of refraction that is lower than the first index of refraction.

Abstract: Sidelink pathloss between a remote user equipment device (UE) and a relay UE may be determined based at least on transmit power information provided by the relay UE to the remote UE. The remote UE may receive, via a sidelink discovery signal from the relay UE, a message that includes first information representative of a transmit power of the relay UE and/or second information representative of a measured receive signal power of a sidelink solicitation signal previously transmitted by the remote UE and received by the relay UE. The remote UE may determine a sidelink pathloss between the remote UE and the relay UE based at least on the first information and/or the second information. The remote UE may select/reselect a relay UE based on corresponding pathlosses determined for the respective paths between the remote UE and different respective relay UEs.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for a wireless communication system in an unlicensed spectrum. A user equipment (UE) device of the wireless communication system includes a processor circuitry and radio front end circuitry. The processor circuitry is configured to acquire a channel occupancy time (COT) in the unlicensed spectrum, and determine a number of remaining consecutive subframes allocated for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission to a base station. The processor circuitry is configured to generate uplink control information (UCI) to indicate a COT sharing boundary occurring at an end of the remaining consecutive subframes. The radio front end circuitry is coupled to the processor circuitry and configured to transmit the UCI in the PUSCH) transmission during one of the remaining consecutive subframes. The processor circuitry is also configured to monitor downlink transmissions from the base station following the COT sharing boundary.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform methods for network assisted side-link resource configuration for unicast and/or multi-cast/groupcast communications in V2X networks. A UE may, after establishing an RRC connection with a base station, transmit, to the base station, V2X connection information. The V2X connection information may include a V2X identifier associated with the UE and a V2X identifier associated with a target UE. The UE may receive, from the base station, a side-link configuration for data transmission with the target UE. The side-link configuration may include a resource allocation defined in time and frequency (e.g., a transmit/receive pool). The UE may communicate with the target UE using the resource allocation included in the side-link configuration.
