摘要: In an UPS system, following components are arranged in a machine cabinet: an AC-to-DC converter connected to a DC voltage link on its output side, a DC-to-AC converter connected to the DC voltage link on its input side; a motor/generator electrically connected to the DC voltage link and having a flywheel coupled to its rotor; a bypass to the AC-to-DC converter and the DC-to-AC converter connected in series, a bypass switch being arranged in the bypass; a controller; and a blower which draws air out of the surroundings through air filters, blows the air in the machine cabinet through a heat exchanger, and ejects the air again. The heat exchanger is arranged in a coolant circuit together with a coolant pump, cooling bodies for the power output stages, and coolant channels which include stator channels running through a stator of the motor/generator.

摘要: The vehicle includes an AC motor generator (MG) connected to a driving wheel, a battery, an inverter configured to convert DC power supplied from the battery to AC power and supply the AC power to the MG, and a vehicle ECU configured to control the inverter. The vehicle ECU performs a zero torque control to drive the inverter so that the output torque from the MG is zero when the battery is prohibited from being charged while the MG is being driven to rotate by the motive power from the driving wheel.

The system may include two or more direct current battery subsystems, a direct current motor/alternating current generator combination, an electric power distribution network, and battery recharging elements. One battery subsystem may power an alternating current generator while the other battery subsystem charges using a portion of the generated power. Excess power may service other electric loads. The roles of the battery subsystems may be switched periodically between charging and powering, repeatedly.

摘要: A portable power generation system includes a power generation unit and a monitoring unit. The power generation unit is detachable from the wheeled occupant apparatus and includes a pivoting arm, a rotating gear, and a control unit. The rotating gear is in communication with the wheeled occupant apparatus and is configured to rotate upon movement of the wheeled occupant apparatus, such that rotation of the rotating gear induces an electrical power generation effect. The control unit is in communication with the rotating gear through the pivoting arm and regulates the storage and transmission of electrical power. The monitoring unit is in electrical communication with the power generation unit and dispenses electrical power and provides user data to a user.
