摘要: A wideband array capable of MIMO operation and possessing low Passive Intermodulation (PIM) characteristics is described for use in Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and other applications which require low PIM levels. The antenna can be configured to provide a narrow radiated beamwidth across multiple frequency bands and can support high power levels. A novel antenna design is implemented to populate the array configuration, wherein both fed and counterpoise elements are isolated from the ground plane to provide low PIM performance, while maintaining constant beamwidth across wide frequency ranges.

摘要: An antenna includes a stack of cylindrical lenses combined with feed elements to provide multi-beam coverage for a given wireless communication sector. Each cylindrical lens disc has approximately the same height as the feed elements being used with the lens. To overcome the problem of interference from cables and opposing feeds, feed elements are placed around the lens. The cylindrical lenses are stacked such that a small gap exists between each pair of adjacent cylindrical lenses, allowing for cable lines to pass through between the pair of the cylindrical lenses, and thus removing interference for 360 degree coverage. Cable lines are arranged such that they only traverse the portion of the circumferential surfaces of the cylindrical lenses that do not interfere with the field of view of the RF signals generated by the corresponding feed elements.

摘要: A composite antenna device is provided that is capable of achieving gain enhancement of a patch antenna and further miniaturization of the entire device size. A composite antenna device capable of receiving signals of a plurality of frequency bands for a vehicle includes a base plate, a first antenna, and a second antenna. The second antenna is constituted by a capacitive antenna capable of receiving signals of a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band.
