    Abstract: An energy storage cell includes an electrode assembly, a cell case housing the electrode assembly, and an electrolyte solution contained in the cell case. The electrode assembly includes a wound assembly obtained by winding a positive electrode sheet and a negative electrode sheet with a separator therebetween, a first tape attached to one end in an axial direction of the wound assembly, and a second tape attached to the other end in the axial direction of the wound assembly. A force of fixing the wound assembly by the first tape is smaller than a force of fixing the wound assembly by the second tape.

    Abstract: A power storage cell includes a wound electrode assembly which includes: a positive plate (a first electrode); a negative plate (a second electrode); and a separator. The positive plate includes a positive current collector (a first current collector) and a positive electrode mixture layer (a first electrode material layer). The positive current collector has: a positive coated portion (a first coated portion) and a plurality of positive uncoated portions (first uncoated portions) projecting from the positive coated portion on one axial side of the wound electrode assembly. Some of the plurality of positive uncoated portions are disposed side by side, spaced apart from each other in X direction (a winding direction).

The principal includes a central portion and an end portion with a ring-like shape surrounding the central portion in a plan view.     Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing an electrode includes a plurality of guide rollers configured to transport an electrode plate. The apparatus detects a defect on the electrode plate being transported and cut, upon detecting the defect, the electrode plate at a starting part of the defect on the electrode plate to form a defective electrode plate. The apparatus also includes a first taping part connecting the defective electrode plate to a defective electrode roll. The apparatus cuts the electrode plate at an ending part of the defect on the electrode plate to form a normal electrode plate. The apparatus connects the normal electrode plate separated from the defective electrode plate in the second cutting part with a normal electrode roll. The apparatus winds and transports the normal electrode roll.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for producing an electrode-separator assembly for a battery cell. The method comprises the following: supplying a separator material (2) by means of a separator supply device; supplying an electrode (9; 10) by means of an electrode supply device; and producing an electrode-separator assembly by means of a joining device, the electrode (9; 10) being joined to the separator material (2) and an adhesive bond being formed between the electrode (9; 10) and the separator material (2). The electrode (9; 10) and the separator material (2) are joined using at least one vacuum roller (5; 6) which is designed, by means of a roller suction device in a first surface region of a roller body of the vacuum roller (5: 6), to hold the electrode (9; 10) on the roller body at least for supply and, by means of a roller nozzle device in a second surface region of the roller body which is different from the first surface region, to push the electrode away from the vacuum roller (5: 6) towards the separator material (2) for joining, the separator material being supported for joining by a support device which is arranged opposite the vacuum roller (5; 6).
