Abstract: Methods and systems for automatically spraying a glaze solution onto a dental prosthesis are described. The automated spray glazing system includes: a first spray gun; a controller, and a gripper configured to hold the dental prosthesis and to rotate the dental prosthesis about an axis. The controller is configured to rotate the gripper and spray a glaze solution from the first spray gun using a glazing profile based at least in part on a type of the dental prosthesis. The glazing profile is selected such that a cross-sectional thickness of a resulting-glazed material of the dental prosthesis has an average thickness range between 15 to 63 μm and a standard deviation of less than 6 μm when measured at locations in an upper half of the dental prosthesis.

Abstract: A portable water batching system for mixing fireproofing coatings. A controller allows the user to pre-set the volume of a batch of water to be dispensed into the mixer for the fireproofing coating. The water batching system can also be used in conjunction with an acid/activator injection system that allows an acid solution to be introduced to the fireproofing coating slurry prior to reaching the spray gun used for application. The water batching system and acid injection system can be used in tandem with a system that proportionally controls the amount of acid solution pumped from the acid injection system to the amount of fluid pumped from the water batching system. The systems can each be equipped with data sensors to allow for recording of information for each batch of fireproofing coating.

Abstract: A dispensing system for dispensing a hot melt adhesive foam onto a substrate is described. The dispensing system comprises a pump having a first input to receive a hot melt adhesive and a second input to receive a gas, where the pump mixes the hot melt adhesive and the gas to produce a solution. The dispensing system also includes a temperature sensor to detect a temperature of the solution, a dispenser to receive the solution from the pump and dispense the solution, and a controller. The controller instructs the pump to operate at a first speed, receives the temperature of the solution, and instructs the pump to operate at a second speed that is different than the first speed in response to the signal.

Abstract: A nozzle dispenses a material, such as an adhesive, primer, paint, or other coating, through a dispensing port on to a substrate. The spray pattern provided by the nozzle defines, at least in part, an application pattern of the material on to the substrate. An air mask port integral with the nozzle or a separate nozzle expels a mask stream of pressurized gas. The mask stream projects toward the substrate to aid in limiting an application of the material beyond an application line on the substrate. The air-mask port and the dispensing port may be moved relative to the substrate and/or the application line such that the mask stream provides a barrier to the material being applied.

The vehicle preparation may include applying masking materials to at least a portion of the vehicle. The vehicle preparation may include application of a pre-treatment to at least a portion of the vehicle. A coating may be applied to at least a portion of the vehicle. The coating may include one or more layers. The masking materials may be removed from the vehicle after the completion of the coating application. The vehicle may be electronically recorded into inventory using a data acquisition and/or process control system. The vehicle may be delivered and/or returned to the vehicle manufacturer.

The graphical user interface illustrates a status of the fluid handling system, sensed and commanded temperatures of the fluid handling system, sensed and commanded pressures of the fluid handling system, and usage statistics of the fluid handling system.

Abstract: A fault notification system comprises a plurality of tower sensor units and a central processing element. Each tower sensor unit includes a tower safety sensor and a tower processing element. The tower safety sensor monitors a rotation angle of a mobile tower and output a signal that varies according to the rotation angle. The tower processing element is configured to receive the signal, compare a signal level of the signal with a range of signal levels indicating a normal rotation angle, and transmit a message that a fault has occurred and request that each drive motor shut down if the level of the signal is out of the range indicating a normal rotation angle. The central processing element is configured to receive the message from the tower processing element and transmit a signal to each tower processing element to output a signal to instruct each drive motor to shut down.

Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for removably mounting an agricultural product sprayer, having at least one foldable boom, on an agricultural product applicator having a chassis adapted for removably receiving the agricultural product sprayer, by attaching the foldable boom to a skid adapted for operative, removable mounting on the applicator chassis. The skid further has a boom cradle adapted for supporting the foldable boom in a folded position when the skid is mounted on the chassis, and when the skid is separated from the chassis of the agricultural applicator. The boom cradle is selectively movable between an inboard and an outboard position of the cradle to facilitate operation of the product applicator, and also to facilitate mounting the sprayer on, and removing the sprayer from the chassis of the applicator.
