The lighting fixture has a bowl-shaped reflector with a central aiming axis and a side-mounted lamp mounting socket for a transversely supporting a single-ended lamp with the reflector. The light fixture also has a mounting arm for coupling the reflector to a support member and for supporting the lamp substantially perpendicular to the central aiming axis of the reflector. More specifically, the mounting arm has a first end coupled to the exterior of the reflector and a second end located substantially adjacent the central aiming axis of the reflector. The mounting arm also has a wiring channel extending between its first and second ends and a socket recess located at its first end for mounting the lamp mounting socket therein.

    摘要: A lamp has a base, a pole attached to and extending upwardly from the base, a shade having a central opening, and a neck assembly at an upper end of the pole supporting the shade. The neck assembly supporting the shade includes an outer neck member with an annular bottom plate attached to the top of the pole and an upper annular support ring. An inner neck member has an annular bottom plate and an upper annular ring, the inner neck member being coaxial with the outer member and having an axial length between the bottom plate and ring less than the corresponding length of the outer member. An externally threaded body passes through the bottom plates. A nut threadedly engages the threaded body and urges the bottom plates toward each other with the upper rings engaging opposite upper and lower surfaces of the shade adjacent the central opening. A halogen or incandescent bulb socket is supported in the inner neck member. In another embodiment, the outer neck member surrounds a coaxial threaded member which carries a spacer and bracket supporting the bulb socket.

    摘要: The present invention provides for a pneumatically operated retractable lighting assembly that is adapted for insertion into the ground, existing ceilings, or the like. The pneumatically operated retractable lighting assembly includes a first housing that receives a second housing. The second housing is in a slidable relationship to the first housing. The second housing further supports the light fixture. When the device is activated, air is supplied to the first housing in order to lift and activate the second housing and current is supplied to the light fixture. During deactivation, the air escapes the first housing to permit the second housing to retract into the first housing while current is no longer supplied to the light fixture.

The light stake has a base having an elongated post extending perpendicularly therefrom and a locking mechanism on the base movable between an open position and a locked position. The locking mechanism or mechanisms cooperate with the base fixedly to position the wire connecting a series of decorative bulb sockets with respect to the base when the locking mechanism is in the locked position thereof and the wire is trapped against the base by the locking mechanism. The invention does not rely on a friction fit between the light socket and the base to keep the sockets properly oriented.

    摘要: An indicating lamp having an aseismatic structure which includes an internal chassis for fixing an electric lamp and an electric control board, an indicating lamp cover covering the internal chassis, and a fixture for attaching an indicating lamp to an external structure. A boss having a flange portion is fitted to the fixture, and an insulating member is abuts one or both sides of the flange portion. In addition, a fixing plate constituting a part of the above internal chassis, the insulating member, the flange portion and the indicating lamp cover are clamped with clamping members fed through through-holes provided therethrough, with the above insulating member being held between the fixing plate and the indicating lamp cover. Cylindrical spacers each having a predetermined length and an internal diameter, and into which and from which the above bolt can be freely inserted and taken out, are fitted to the through-holes. The length of the spacers is set to the most suitable value so as to provide the most suitable clamping conditions corresponding to such considerations as the type of the insulating member and the type of vibration from which the electric lamp and electric control board are to be insulated.
