摘要: A wave energy conversion system converts wave energy within a wave medium into electrical energy. The wave energy conversion system includes a base substantially connected to a wave-medium floor, a tidal platform connected to the base and a tidal float connected to the tidal platform. An axle is connected to the tidal platform with an inductive coil positioned within the axle, such that an axis of the inductive coil is parallel to the axle. A magnetic sleeve includes a magnetic sleeve opening, such that the axle passes through the magnetic sleeve opening. A float member is connected to the magnetic sleeve. A wave moving through the wave causes displacement of the float member, causing the magnetic sleeve to move relative to the inductive coil and generate electrical energy within the inductive coil.

摘要: A cellular communication system includes an array of buoys disposed in a body of water. Each buoy includes a completer cellular system including a cellular transmission/reception site and associated electrical equipment for processing cellular signals. Each buoy also includes a wave energy converter (WEC) responsive to waves in the body of water for generating electrical energy for powering the associated equipment processing the cellular signals, whereby the cellular system can be continuously operated without any additional power source.

摘要: An electrical generator having two generator components, namely a coil and a magnet. One of the generator components is attached to a fixed or buoyant pylon, and the other of the generator components is attached to a float that rises and falls in response to changes in the water level of a body of water. This causes relative motion between the two generator components and results in electrical power being generated by the coil. The buoyant pylon may be anchored by a flexible attachment to the bottom of the body of water. The float need not be coaxial with respect to the pylon. A single float may be used with more than one pylon and generator component. More than one float may be used with a particular generator component. Fixed pylons may also be used as a breakwater or as a support for a structure.

摘要: A wave power plant arranged to be placed on or in the sea or a lake in order to produce energy, comprising a fixed or floating structure and at least one floating body (1) that moves vertically relative to the floating structure and is connected to the structure via energy transmission devices (11). The floating body (1) is designed to be held in a fixed position during part of the wave induced motion of the body (1), thus to increase the recovery of energy from the waves. A method is also disclosed, in which the body (1) is held in a fixed position during part of the time it takes for a wave crest or trough to pass the body (1).

摘要: A heavy floating devise with one or multiple billows, accordions or balloons, attached on top, that are large enough and strong enough to cover all or most of the floating device's surface and can expand and contract as much as the floating devise lifts them and brings them.down pushed by the tides and the waves, because these accordions are firmly attached above, to an structure that is immobile, high enough, strong enough to withstand the pushing and pulling that the floating devise will exert through the accordions or billows, and to contain the lateral movement of the floating devise within certain parameters so that the floating devise goes almost exclusively up or down, those billows will inflate or deflate depending of the direction up or down of the floating devise, air will be pushed in or out of the accordion through constricted outlets controlled by valves some of them allow air in, some of them allowing the air out, directing, through ducts, the accelerated air to move a circular propeller or impeller, that will move a shaft to an accelerating gear box and that accelerated movement goes to a generator or alternator to generate electricity.

摘要: The invention comprises a float system having a float connected to a pump line and a reservoir tank. As the float rises and falls with the passing swells, it forces water through the pump line into a reservoir tank. An outflow line connects the reservoir line to a generator system, preferably located on shore, where the flowing water is used to drive a turbine and generate electricity. Preferably, there are a plurality of reservoir tanks, each with its own float and pump line, delivering water to the generator system. The flow of water through the pump line is kept steady by providing each reservoir tank with a pressurized air cushion which provides for constant outflow of water from each tank despite variances in the inflow.

摘要: A Reciprocating Generator Wave Power Buoy consists of a reciprocating generator rigidly attached to the underside of an ocean buoy and creates electric power from the surface ocean swells. The generator coil maintains a stable position beneath the ocean surface while the magnetic field housing reciprocates with the vertical motion of the buoy in response to interaction with swell and waves on the surface of the ocean. Damping plates attached to the generator coil inhibit the motion of the generator coil, thus keeping it in a stable position relative to the motion of the magnetic housing. The magnetic housing focuses the magnetic field through the generator coil and the relative motion between the magnetic housing and generator coil creates an electromotive force in the coil. The design of the generator provides a uniform field of single magnetic orientation throughout the entire stroke of the generator. Permanent magnets and electromagnet windings create and enhance the magnetic field of the reciprocating generator.

摘要: Apparatus for converting the motion of sea waves to electrical energy comprises at least one vertically oriented linear generator, relatively reciprocating motion of the armature and stator of which is driven by a float immersed in the sea directly below the motor armature. To protect the generator against unfavourable sea conditions, on the onset or occurrence of same, the float is moved to and held in a position in which it is clear of, or submerged, in the sea. This movement may be achieved in whole or in part by operating the linear generator as a linear motor.

摘要: A system for generating electric power using internal waves and currents of oceans and rivers against a bag structure mounted moveably on a tower fixed to the ocean or river bottom. The bag structure is filled with compressed water and surrounds the support tower. Arranged around a central hole in the bag structure are located numerous gears which mesh with racks mounted horizontally around the bag structure's central hole circumference.Movement of the internal waves or currents of a surrounding ocean or river cause the bag to rotate and move vertically up and down, turning generator armatures attached directly or indirectly to the bag and tower producing electrical power. Assuming a river moves at 0.82 meters/sec. and the bag structure measures 50 meters diameter and 6 meters deep with a vertical core hole 15 meters diameter the moment of inertia is then 3,497,812,500 kilogram meters and the angular momentum therefor is 115 megawatts with about 10 megawatts lost to friction. A system as described in the invention, standing in the Detroit River could produce over 105 megawatts of electric power, cleanly and at an economic cost per kilowatt-hour.
