    摘要: A Magnetic Resonance Imaging apparatus having an open U- or C-shaped magnet structure, wherein the magnet structure has at least one vertical connection member for joining two horizontal wall members which lie one above the other and are supported in a cantilever fashion and in a predetermined spaced relationship by the vertical member, the vertical member being eccentrically connected to the two wall members at a side edge thereof. The horizontal wall members and the vertical member delimit the upper and lower sides and at least a vertical lateral band of a space for receiving at least one part of a patient body. The horizontal wall members also support means for generating a static magnetic field that permeates the patient receiving space. The apparatus further includes a patient table, supported in an intermediate position between the two horizontal wall members, and lies slightly above the lower horizontal wall part, the table being displaceable in at least one displacement direction, having at least one component of motion towards and/or away from the vertical connection member, and the table being rotatable about a vertical axis outside the magnet structure, i.e. outside the horizontal wall members.

The first array of transducers includes emitting transducers and is intended only for generating and transmitting ultrasound waves, while a second array of transducers is provided over the first array of emitting transducer and includes receiving transducers for generating the electric receipt signals.     摘要: A method for transmitting ultrasound pulses and receiving echo signals at a harmonic of the transmission frequency includes the steps of generating a signal for exciting a transducer to transmit at least one ultrasound pulse at a basic transmission frequency and receiving the reflection echo of said pulse at a harmonic of the frequency of the transmitted pulse, any contributions to the harmonic frequency being removed or attenuated in the signal for exciting pulse transmission, characterized in that the signal for exciting the transducer/s is filtered or coupled thereto via a resonant circuit which is calibrated to the basic frequency. In combination therewith or alternatively thereto, the method includes a resonant circuit for additional coupling with a receiver. Included is an apparatus for transmitting ultrasound pulses and receiving echo signals at a harmonic of the transmission frequency, particularly an ultrasound imaging probe and an ultrasound imaging machine.

    摘要: A method for automatically detecting and tracking the contour of an image that uses a class of filters, obtained from the first order absolute central moment. The method provides the steps of filtering a starting image through the absolute central moment e(n,m) of the intensity of a pixel of the image, being n and m the coordinates of each pixel, where the absolute central moment is obtained with the following steps: determining for each n,m the local mean calculated in a neighborhood about a pixel of coordinates n,m of the starting image, thus obtaining a first filtered image; determining for each n,m the sum of the absolute differences between the intensity of a pixel of coordinates n,m of the first filtered image and the intensity of all the pixels contained in a neighborhood about a pixel of coordinates n,m of either the starting image or a second filtered image obtained from the starting image.
