Abstract: Various communication techniques and related systems for a fusion between a 5th generation (5G) communication system and Internet of Things (IoT) technology are provided. A user equipment (UE) is required to select a dedicated core network so as to receive a suitable service. In a method for transmitting and receiving a signal, an enhanced Node B (eNB) of a mobile communication system transmits a first request message to a first mobile management entity (MME), receives a reroute command message based on the first request message from the first MME, and transmits a second message to a second MME based on the reroute command message. Herein, the reroute command message contains the first request message, at least one MME identifier, and a UE identifier.

The method includes receiving, from a base station, information associated with simultaneous physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission, identifying that a PUCCH with a first priority index and a PUSCH with a second priority index overlap in a time domain, and in case that the first priority index is different from the second priority index, transmitting, to the base station, uplink control information (UCI) via the PUCCH and uplink data via the PUSCH, based on the information associated with the simultaneous PUCCH and PUSCH transmission.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are provided in a wireless communication system. A plurality of configurations associated with channel state information (CSI) is received from a base station. Each configuration includes information on an aperiodic CSI-reference signal (CSI-RS) resource, and the aperiodic CSI-RS resource is associated with quasi co-location (QCL) information. Downlink control information (DCI) including information indicating a configuration among the plurality of configurations is received from the base station. A measurement is performed based on the aperiodic CSI-RS resource associated with the configuration indicated by the DCI. A CSI report is transmitted to the base station based on the measurement.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). Methods and apparatuses are provided in which first sidelink data and second sidelink data are received from one or more terminals. It is determined whether a first resource for transmitting first feedback information for the first sidelink data and a second resource for transmitting second feedback information for the second sidelink data overlap each other. When the first resource and the second resource overlap each other, feedback information corresponding to one of the first feedback information and the second feedback information having a higher priority, is transmitted to the one or more terminals. A priority of each of the first feedback information and the second feedback information is based on sidelink control information scheduling each of the first sidelink data and the second sidelink data.
