Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for a multi-band millimeter-wave (mmW) antenna array and radio-frequency integrated circuit (RFIC) module. In an example aspect, the apparatus includes a multi-band mmW antenna array and RFIC module with a first antenna array, a second antenna array, and at least one radio-frequency front-end integrated circuit. The first antenna array includes at least two first antenna elements and is tuned to a first mmW frequency band. The second antenna array includes at least two second antenna elements and is tuned to a second mmW frequency band. The at least one radio-frequency front-end integrated circuit includes at least two first transceiver chains and at least two second transceiver chains. The at least two first transceiver chains are respectively coupled to the at least two first antenna elements, and the at least two second transceiver chains are respectively coupled to the at least two second antenna elements.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques for multibeam PDCCH monitoring during CDRX operations. A BS may determine a configuration of one or more beams for a UE to monitor for receiving a downlink control channel from the BS, wherein the configuration is based, at least in part, on a monitoring window since the subframe in which the downlink control channel (e.g., PDCCH), indicates an initial UL, DL, or SL use data transmission for the UE. The BS may transmit, to the UE, an indication of the configuration. A UE may perform corresponding operations and may monitor one or more beams based on the received configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for refinement of receive beam beamforming parameters at a user equipment (UE). A UE may transmit two or more signals in an uplink transmission that have different beamforming parameters. A base station receiving the uplink transmission may measure the two or more signals, and identify a first signal of the two or more signals based at least in part on the measuring. The base station may inform the UE of the identified first signal, which the UE may use to set receive beam beamforming parameters for one or more subsequent downlink transmissions.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a UE may measure a first reference signal, associated with a frequency band of a long term evolution (LTE) system, and a second reference signal associated with a frequency band of a new radio (NR) system. The frequency band of the NR system may overlap the frequency band of the LTE system. The UE may determine first channel state feedback, associated with the frequency band of the LTE system, and second channel state feedback, associated with the frequency band of the NR system, based at least in part on the first reference signal and the second reference signal, respectively. The UE may report the first channel state feedback or the second channel state feedback in uplink control information (UCI). Other aspects are provided.
