    Abstract: Aspects directed towards communications for random access procedures are disclosed. In one example, a first beam and a second beam may be available for communications between a scheduled entity and a scheduling entity. The scheduling entity may send, and the scheduled entity may receive, a message 1 transmission for a random access procedure on the first beam. The scheduled entity may open a random access response (RAR) window to monitor for a message 2 transmission according to a predetermined sequence designating whether to monitor the first beam, the second beam, or some combination thereof. The scheduling entity may send, and the scheduled entity may receive, the message 2 transmission on the first beam or the second beam as designated by the predetermined sequence. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also included.

    Abstract: Methods, computer program products, and apparatuses for staggering downlink and uplink communications are provided. An example method at a UE includes establishing a connection with a base station. The example method further includes receiving, from the base station, at least one staggering indication comprising a downlink staggering offset for downlink communication and an uplink staggering offset for uplink communication, the downlink communication being an XR, a VR, or an AR downlink communication and the uplink communication being an XR, a VR, or an AR uplink communication.     Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for managing millimeter wave (mmWave) communications with wireless devices capable of mmWave digital beamforming. Various embodiments may enable multiplexing of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) and data and/or control blocks for wireless devices with digital beamforming capabilities. Various embodiments may include sending an indication to a base station that the wireless device is capable of mmWave digital beamforming. Various embodiments may include receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message from the base station scheduling an SSB in a mmWave frequency range for the wireless device with the SSB frequency-division multiplexed in a same timeslot with one or both of a data transport block or a system information block (SIB) for the wireless device.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, related to long term sensing based inter-operator coexistence techniques for unlicensed high bands providing a measurement framework and candidate measurements, along with channel selection, per-beam channel deselection, and dynamic frequency selection. In one aspect, a network entity may determine that a non-coordinating node satisfies a communication presence threshold based on the at least one long term sensing measurement, and transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), an indication of a remedial action, or adjusting the communication channel based on the determination. In another aspect, a UE may obtain at least one long term sensing measurement, and transmit a long term sensing report including the at least one long term sensing measurement.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for receiving first downlink information, failing to decode a first portion of the first downlink information, transmitting, to a base station (BS), a first response including a negative acknowledgement (NACK) indicating a first decoding failure associated with the first portion of the first downlink information, receiving second downlink information, failing to decode a first portion of the second downlink information, detecting a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) buffer unavailability, determining to discard NACK information associated with the NACK, resetting at least a portion of a HARQ buffer, in response to detecting the HARQ buffer unavailability, by discarding NACK information associated with the NACK, generating a reset NACK indicating the HARQ buffer reset and indicating the NACK information being discarded, and transmitting a second response including the reset NACK to the BS.
