    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) uses downlink positioning reference signals (PRS) beams for position measurements. The PRS beams may be transmitted using beamforming and transmitted in a beam-sweeping manner. The UE receives assistance data that includes PRS configuration information including the azimuth and elevation angles and beam width information for each PRS beam. The beam width information may include the beam width, bore sight direction uncertainty, beam width uncertainty, and side lobe/back lobe beam information. The UE may select or adapt the receive (Rx) antennas based on the beam width information to reduce power consumption, for example, by reducing the number of Rx antennas used to receive wide PRS beams, and selecting a larger number of Rx antennas when the PRS beams are narrow.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, downlink control information (DCI) that schedules a downlink transmission and one or more repetitions of the downlink transmission. The DCI may indicate a first uplink resource for a first feedback message indicating whether the UE receives the downlink transmission and the one or more repetitions. Based on receiving the DCI, the UE may select a second uplink resource for a second feedback message indicating feedback that the UE received the DCI, where the second uplink resource occurs prior to the first uplink resource in a time domain. The UE may transmit the second feedback message on the second uplink resource. The UE and the network node may be part of a non-terrestrial network and, in some examples, may apply a configuration indicated in the DCI based on the second feedback message.

In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) performs a plurality of positioning measurements of a plurality of positioning reference signals (PRS) transmitted by at least one network node, transmits a first physical layer message having a fixed payload size, wherein the first physical layer message includes at least an indication of a type, a number, or both of a first set of positioning measurements of the plurality of positioning measurements to be included in a second physical layer message having a variable payload size, and transmits the second physical layer message having the variable payload size, wherein the second physical layer message includes at least the first set of positioning measurements, and wherein the variable payload size of the second physical layer message is based at least on the type, the number, or both of the first set of positioning measurements.

    Abstract: In an aspect, a communications device obtains a residual AoA bias associated with a first AoA measurement of a RS-P transmitted from a wireless reference node to a first base station, the wireless reference node associated with a location known to the communications device, obtains a second AoA measurement associated with an uplink signal (e.g., PRACH, SRS, UL-SRS-P, etc.) transmitted from a UE to the first base station, and calibrates the second AoA measurement based on the residual AoA bias. In another aspect, a communications device obtains a residual AoD bias associated with a first AoD measurement of a RS-P transmitted from a first base station to a wireless reference node with a known location, obtains a second AoD measurement associated with a downlink signal (e.g., DL-PRS) transmitted from the first base station to a UE, and calibrates the second AoD measurement based on the residual AoD bias.

    Abstract: Disclosed are various techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) identifies a set of positioning sources, each positioning source comprising a positioning reference signal (PRS) resource, a PRS resource set, a PRS frequency layer, and/or a transmission/reception point (TRP). From the set of positioning sources, the UE identifies a consistency group comprising a collection of positioning sources grouped based on expected values of at least one metric of a reference signal from each positioning source, measured values of the at least one metric for the reference signal from each positioning source, and an error threshold. The UE identifies one or more subsets of positioning sources within the consistency group, each subset having at least one metric error value. The UE reports, to a network entity, information about the consistency group and information about at least one of the subsets of positioning sources within the consistency group.

    Abstract: In an aspect, a first base station (e.g., Rx gNB) receives, from a radar controller, a configuration of UL T-F resources for the first base station to receive at least one radar signal from a second base station. The first base station further determines power control parameter(s) associated with the at least one radar signal, at least one UL transmission, or a combination thereof. The first base station performs, based on the power control parameter(s), action(s) to mitigate impact by the at least one radar signal to the at least one UL transmission, or by the at least one UL transmission to the at least one radar signal, or a combination thereof. The first base station measures the at least one radar signal on the set of UL T-F resources in accordance with the configuration.
