Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a wireless device to use periodic reserved resources to serve aperiodic traffic over sidelink. In one aspect, a wireless device reserves a set of periodic resources for sidelink transmission, where the reserved set of periodic resources include reserved resources for SCI and reserved resources for data. The wireless device transmits SCI without a data transmission in a periodic resource for the period. In another aspect, a first wireless device receives a reservation from a second wireless device for a set of periodic resources for sidelink transmission. The first wireless device receives, from the second wireless device, SCI in a period of the periodic resources, the SCI including an indication that the SCI is not associated with a data transmission.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating sidelink resource pool activation and deactivation for sidelink communication are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a first sidelink device includes identifying a configuration of a bandwidth part (BWP) for sidelink communication. In some examples, the BWP may comprise at least a first resource pool including a first subset of frequency resources and a second resource pool including a second subset of frequency resources. The example method also includes receiving an activation indication activating the second subset of frequency resources of the second resource pool. Additionally, the example method includes activating the second subset of frequency resources of the second resource pool based on the activation indication.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to downlink (DL) transmissions using various powers and assigning frequency resources based on the powers. An example base station may transmit, to a first user equipment (UE), an indication of a first transmit (Tx) power for one or more first DL transmissions to a first group of a plurality of groups. The first group may include the first UE. The first Tx power may have a first power level different from a second power level of a second Tx power for one or more second DL transmissions to a second group of the plurality of groups. Then, the base station may transmit, to the first UE, a first DL transmission of the one or more first DL transmissions using the first Tx power. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) that is configured with two sets of power control parameters may be signaled (e.g., via downlink control information (DCI)) as to which set of parameters to use for determining the transmission power on a sidelink channel. The UE may determine a transmit power for a sidelink message based on the indication included in the DCI. The base station may transmit the indication based on whether uplink or downlink communications are scheduled on resources that may overlap with resources used for transmission of the sidelink message.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to estimate interference for concurrent uplink and downlink communications based on an indication of one or more one or more characteristics of an interfering uplink signal communicated between a base station and a second user equipment (UE). The base station or the second UE may transmit, to a first UE, an indication of one or more characteristics of an uplink signal, such as a baseband of the uplink signal or one or more parameters of the uplink signal. The first UE may use the characteristic(s) of the uplink signal to estimate the baseband of the uplink signal and cancel interference associated with the uplink signal. For example, the first UE may use the baseband signal to estimate the interference and may subtract the estimated interference from a downlink signal received at the first UE.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for mitigation of crowded UL SPS feedback transmissions. A UE may receive, from a base station, a plurality of SPS PDSCHs in a plurality of DL slots, and determine that at least one UL transmission including HARQ-ACK feedback associated with the plurality of SPS PDSCHs overlaps in time with the plurality of DL slots. Hence, the UE may delay the at least one UL transmission including the HARQ-ACK feedback associated with the plurality of SPS PDSCHs to one or more subsequent slots based on a bitmap indicative of the one or more subsequent slots.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a UE determines a frequency hopping pattern for transmission of a physical random access channel (PRACH) preamble based on an associated PRACH coverage enhancement (CE) level, and transmits the PRACH preamble in accordance with the frequency hopping pattern and the associated PRACH CE level. A base station receives the PRACH preamble, and transmits a response (e.g., Msg2 or MsgA) to the PRACH preamble.
