    Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are disclosed herein. The UE may receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) that schedules a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) in a slot, and on a component carrier (CC) of a plurality of CCs. The PDCCH may include a total downlink assignment index (DAI) and a counter DAI for hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback of the PDSCH. The total DAI may indicate a total number of pairs of CCs and slots for the HARQ-ACK feedback. The UE may encode the HARQ-ACK feedback to include a bit that indicates whether the PDSCH is successfully decoded. A size of the HARQ-ACK feedback may be based on the total DAI, and a position of the bit may be based on the counter DAI.

A described technique performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving downlink control information (DCI) messages corresponding to respective physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission occasions; determining power control adjustment states for the PUSCH transmission occasions; and transmitting in the PUSCH transmission occasions in accordance with the power control adjustment states. Determining the power control adjustment states can include selectively applying TPC accumulation. Determining the power control adjustment states can include determining whether a first PUSCH transmission occasion occurs out-of-order with respect to a second PUSCH transmission occasion based on an arrival ordering of the DCI messages, where the first PUSCH transmission occasion occurs before the second PUSCH transmission occasion.

    Abstract: A method for enhanced physical downlink control channel monitoring (PDCCH) includes determining a monitoring span for monitoring a PDCCH within a slot, the monitoring span having a start symbol and a duration that spans one or more symbols within the slot. At least one of a maximum number of blind decoding (BD) attempts or a maximum number of control channel elements (CCEs) for channel estimation is determined based on the monitoring span. The PDCCH is monitored within the monitoring span up to the at least one of the maximum number of BD attempts or the maximum number of CCEs.

The technique further includes transmitting a first hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) message and a second HARQ-ACK message based on the first PDSCH and the second PDSCH in accordance with a first processing time parameter and a second processing time parameter, respectively. The first processing time parameter can be based on a PDSCH mapping type, a processing capability of the UE, and one or more timing characteristics of the first PDSCH and the second PDSCH.

Downlink data scheduled by the

    Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitries are provided for determining fallback behavior in a user equipment (UE) wireless communication device. The method includes signaling an enhanced processing time capability and fallback type to the wireless network, wherein the processing time capability includes respective numbers of transport blocks per slot the UE can process mapped to different respective specified numbers of serving cells. A number of configured serving cells that support the enhanced processing time capability is determined. The method includes determining, based on the number of configured serving cells, a maximum number of transport blocks per slot that will be communicated between the UE and the configured serving cells. A fallback behavior based on the determined maximum number of transport blocks per slot and the fallback type is determined.
