摘要: A system for secure management of licensing and distributing virtual network functions (VNF) is provided. The system includes a VNF license manager, a VNF repository, and a VNF license database. The VNF license manager is in communication with the VNF repository and the VNF license database. The VNF license manager is programmed to receive a request for access to a first VNF from a virtual network. The virtual network is configured to execute the first VNF. The VNF license manager is also programmed to determine if the virtual network may access the first VNF based on one or more policies associated with the first VNF. If the virtual network may access the first VNF, the VNF license manager is programmed to retrieve the first VNF from the VNF repository and transmit the first VNF to the virtual network.

摘要: A digital transmission system includes a transmitter configured to transmit an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal along a signal path, a receiver for receiving the OFDM signal from the transmitter and extracting OFDM symbols from the received OFDM signal, and a diagnostic unit configured to (i) demodulate the received OFDM signal to create an ideal signal, (ii) compare the received OFDM signal with the ideal signal to calculate an error signal, (iii) cross-correlate the error signal with the ideal signal, and (iv) determine a level nonlinear distortion from one of the transmitter and the signal path based on the correlation of the error signal with the ideal signal.

The CREP protocol uses a slot configuration template that defines which credentials are installed on the client device and the provisioning server responds with actions to provision the client device according to a client target configuration stored at the server.

摘要: A communications network includes a central communication unit, an optical transport medium, and a plurality of remote radio base stations. The central communication unit generates, within a selected millimeter-wave frequency band, a plurality of adjacent two-tone optical frequency conjugate pairs. Each conjugate pair includes a first optical tone carrying a modulated data signal, and a second optical tone carrying a reference local oscillator signal. The optical transport medium transports the plurality of two-tone conjugate pairs to the plurality of radio base stations, and each base station receives at least one conjugate pair at an optical front end thereof. The optical front end separates the first optical tone from the second optical tone, and converts the first optical tone into a millimeter-wave radio frequency electrical signal. The base station further includes a radio antenna system for wirelessly transmitting the millimeter-wave radio frequency electrical signal to at least one wireless receiving device.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for a decision directed multi-modulus searching algorithm are described. A receiver may receive an optical signal including a set of data symbols. The receiver may iteratively determine a set of centroids for demodulating the set of data symbols (e.g., as part of a training procedure). The centroids may be used to demodulate the set of data symbols according to a modulation constellation associated with the set of data symbols. The training procedure may include, for each data symbol of a subset of data symbols, assigning a centroid of the set of centroids to each data symbol and updating the set of centroids based on assigning the centroid to each data symbol. The receiver may demodulate the set of data symbols based on the updated set of centroids.

The torque ring includes at least one radial movement inhibiting structure, and a plurality of second teeth having a second sawtooth pattern disposed in an axial direction of the torque sleeve facing the plurality of first teeth. The torque spring is configured to apply a spring force against the torque ring to encourage movement of the torque ring toward the slip ring. The outer shell is configured to house the slip ring, the torque ring, and the torque spring within the torque sleeve.

摘要: The present disclosure generally relates to systems, methods and software for determining an optimal burst transmission time through a modem, such as a cable modem, a wireless access point, a node in a cable network, or a satellite communication link. Particularly, the present disclosure makes it possible for a burst of queued data, defined as data above a certain percentile of a monitored traffic rate, to be transmitted by the modem at a time that provides the best chance of avoiding a collision with a co-occurring burst of data from another user connected to the same modem. In an embodiment, the systems, methods and software disclosed herein use the optimal transmission time to replace a contention window transmission time, at least for bursty data, or they completely eliminate the need for contention windows, at least for bursty data.
