An oval connecting block is selectively attached to the base plate by a fixing member and received in the blade of the ceiling fan. The oval connecting block has an axis parallel to that of the blade. The oval connecting block includes two opposite ends each having a knob laterally extending from the oval connecting block. A press plate is rotatably mounted on a top of the oval connecting block. The press plate having two opposite ends each bent to abut a top surface of the blade. The knob abuts a bottom surface of the blade and the press plate abuts the top surface of the blade so that the blade is clamped between the knob and the press plate.

    摘要: A preferred joint restraint includes a dampening force and a restraining force to control relative movement between a pad and gland and between the gland and bolt, respectively. The preferred restraint includes a gland, pads, and bolts. Preferably, a flexible member disposed in the pad selectively provides the dampening and retaining force. A preferred joint restraint also includes a pad and a bolt that coact to provide a controlled wedging action. The wedging action supplies supplemental tooth penetration and/or enhanced clamping force that stabilizes a shifting tubular member (pipe). A preferred tooth arrangement for a restraint pad produces an intermittent penetration pattern in the pipe. A preferred spacing member for a restraint tunes a clamping force generated by the restraint to accommodate variations in pipe geometry and/or materials. A preferred restraint is arranged according to a method that uses pipe expansion to provide an enhanced gripping action.

    摘要: A mounting system for a speed reducer having a housing with a rotatable input drive coupled with the housing and a gear train coupled with the input to drive an output. The mounting system has a cylinder having an inner and outer surface and two ends. The outer surface includes a portion adapted to couple with the drive train. The outer surface at both ends may have a threaded portion or another securement portion. The inner surface may be tapered from both the ends such that the tapers are substantially symmetrical about the cylinder. A bushing ring, with an internal diameter, may include threads to threadily connect with either threaded end of the output cylinder, or another type of securement may be used. A bushing, which includes a flange and a cylindrical portion, is adapted to couple with the bushing ring. The flange portion couples with the bushing ring on either side of the output cylinder. The cylindrical portion may have an outer tapered surface complementary to the inner tapered surface of the cylinder. The bushing secures the speed reducer with a shaft so that the speed reducer may be secured to the shaft from either end of the cylinder.

    摘要: An expandable key for being received in registering channels which form a keyway in a hub member and a shaft member. The key includes an expansion member composed of a plurality of parallel fillets which collectively have a rectangular cross sectional peripheral outline and a bore extending longitudinally therebetween, and at least one clamp body positioned within the bore. A threaded tensioning member extends through the bore of the fillets and threadedly engages a bore in the clamp body, such that upon rotation of the tensioning member the clamp body is drawn into the bore to expand the fillets. The clamp body and the bore of the fillets have interengaging generally flat tapered surfaces which are in the form of a truncated four sided pyramid.
