Abstract: An arithmetic operation target is input to an information processing apparatus which causes an accelerator apparatus to perform an arithmetic operation using the arithmetic operation target. Abstract: A control system for a motor vehicle having a first control unit for controlling a first function of the motor vehicle, a second control unit for controlling a second function of the motor vehicle and a backup control unit. At least the first or the second control unit is connected in a signal-transmitting manner with the backup control unit. Abstract: Techniques are provided for metadata management for enabling automated switchover in accordance with a configuration of storage solution that expresses a preference for either maintaining availability (e.g., a non-zero RPO mode) of the storage solution or avoiding data loss (e.g., a zero RPO mode). In one example, responsive to detecting a switchover trigger event, a node of a local cluster of a cross-site storage solution determines whether performance of an automated switchover from a failed cluster to a surviving cluster of the cross-site storage solution is enabled. Responsive to an affirmative determination, the node selectively proceeds with the automated switchover based on the configuration.

Abstract: A processor comprises a plurality of processing units, wherein there is a fixed transmission time for transmitting a message from a sending processing unit to a receiving processing unit, based on the physical positions of the sending and receiving processing units in the processor. The processing units are arranged in a column, and the fixed transmission time depends on the position of a processing circuit in the column. Abstract: A method for generating a copy of a database using a data streaming protocol is disclosed. The method comprises setting up a structure of a secondary database, prioritizing data objects to be copied from a primary database to the secondary database, copying data objects from the primary database to the secondary database using a data streaming protocol, restoring data corresponding to the data object in the secondary database in parallel to copying data objects from the primary database to the secondary database, applying changes made to the data corresponding to the data object in the primary database during the time of copying, after the data object has been copied, and making available the secondary database for usage once all data objects have been copied from the primary database to the secondary database so that a usable copy of the primary database is created.

Abstract: Disclosed is a base unit including a video link hub electrically connected to a user interface device to transmit a signal, a first system-on-chip (SoC) configured to provide a first infotainment function, and a processor configured to determine whether the first SoC is operating abnormally. Abstract: Described herein are techniques for improving disaster recovery, in particular disaster recovery pertaining to data transfer requests. The data transfer request can be received by each of multiple deployments; however, only a primary deployment can process the request. The data transferred by the primary deployment may be replicated in the secondary deployments. In response to a failover event, one of the secondary deployments can be designated as the new primary development and continue the data transfer based on the data transfer request and the replication information received from the old primary deployment prior to the failover.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes example service takeover methods, storage devices, and service takeover apparatuses. In one example method, when a communication fault occurs between two storage devices in a storage system, the two storage devices respectively obtain running statuses of the two storage devices. A running status can reflect current usage of one or more system resources of a particular storage device. Then, a delay duration is determined according to the running statuses, where the delay duration is a duration for which the storage device waits before sending an arbitration request to a quorum server. The two storage devices respectively send, after the delay duration, arbitration requests to the quorum server to request to take over a service. The quorum server then can select a storage device in a relatively better running status to take over a host service.
