    摘要： The invention concerns a container comprising a container body of a material such as metal, PE or cardboard, having a primary opening which is closed by a metal plate portion acting as a first lid element, wherein the metal plate portion includes a lid tab which is defined by a separation line and which after being broken open opens a discharge opening, and the lid tab has an inclined surface co-operating with a first projection arranged on an opening means movable substantially parallel to the plate portion for applying a force to the lid tab in order to break open the separation line. In order to ensure that in such a container of the general kind set forth, a sufficiently high force can be provided for breaking open the plate portion at the separation line of the lid tab, it is proposed that a depressed bead (32) and adjacent thereto a raised bead (36) is provided at the lid tab (30), wherein the inclined surface is composed at least of a portion of a flank (33) of the depressed bead and at least a portion of a flank (37) of the raised bead.The invention further concerns a lid (20, 50) for such a container and a method of opening such a container (FIG. 4).

    摘要： An easy-opening closure for cans containing beverages and liquids which is actuated by means of a lever and spring fulcrum member affixed to a sliding closure member formed integrally with the can lid by sequential punching and die forming. In the two step opening sequence, the lever is first lifted to break the seal, form a vent, and allow the spring fulcrum element to engage a pivot groove formed in the can lid, after which downward force is applied on the lever to displace the sliding closure member toward the center of the can, guided, and retained by grooves in the side of the opening in the lid. The closure remains attached to the container lid after opening.

    摘要： Improved easy opening means for containers. Especially adapted to those used for liquids, including carbonated beverages, and permitting drinking from the container or pouring out contents. An important feature is attachment of closure to container after opening to avoid litter. Another feature is lift tab for easy opening, and with closure sealed by either a frangible adhesive sealant or by membrane sealing means. Lift tab initiates rupture of sealant, and then is pushed below container top with means to hold tab below opening so there is no interference when drinking from the can. Another closure has a small end for initial pressure release, and then whole closure hinges inwardly. Still another means comprises a slide gate with frangible membrane for sealing and for very easy opening. Optionally a pressure release button is provided to release the internal pressure before pulling the slide gate. An improved forming method for making the opening smaller than the closure where the closure is cut from the ductile metal top material. Partial use of score lines is included. Container top may be of ductile metal or of plastic for some of the designs. Primary objectives are the elimination of separate closure device that would cause litter, closure easier to open than heretofore, low cost, and no danger of a piece coming loose inside container.
