    摘要: A wedge connector system for connecting first and second elongate electrical conductors includes a C-shaped sleeve member, a wedge member, and an insert member. The sleeve member defines a sleeve cavity and opposed first and second sleeve channels on either side of the sleeve cavity. The wedge member includes a wedge body having first and second opposed wedge side walls. The insert member is configured to be selectively mounted in the first sleeve channel and defines an insert member channel to receive the first conductor when the insert member is mounted in the first sleeve channel. The sleeve member and the wedge member are configured to capture the first and second conductors such that: the first conductor is received in the insert member channel and captured between the sleeve member and the first wedge side wall; and the second conductor is captured between the sleeve member and the second wedge side wall.

    摘要: An electrical connection assembly includes a plurality of primary electrical conductors, a secondary electrical conductor, and an electrical connector. The electrical connector includes: a first connector body including an exterior conductor seat channel; a second connector body coupled to the first connector body such that the first and second connector bodies collectively form an axial through passage; a primary clamping mechanism on at least one of the first and second connector bodies; and a secondary clamping mechanism on the first connector body. The secondary connector extends through the exterior conductor seat channel and is clamped therein by the secondary clamping mechanism. The primary conductors extend through the axial through passage and are clamped therein by the primary clamping mechanism to the first and second connector bodies and to one another to mechanically and electrically connect the primary and secondary conductors.

    摘要: An in-line cable termination system for use with first and second electrical power transmission cables includes an isolating apparatus having an isolating apparatus axis and including an electrically conductive first end member and an electrically conductive second end member, first and second insulators, and a fused switch mechanism. The first end member and the second end member are spaced apart along the isolating apparatus axis. Each of the first and second end members includes a respective coupling portion to mechanically and electrically engage the first and second cables, respectively. The first and second insulators each extend between and couple the first end member and the second end member. The fused switch mechanism includes a fuse module and is configured to selectively alternatively electrically connect the first and second end members, and thereby the first and second cables, through the fuse module and disconnect the first and second end members.
