Abstract: A portable terminal and a method for controlling the provision of data are provided. The method includes analyzing information received or generated in response to an event; selecting a module that provides the analyzed information to a user of the portable terminal; and configuring data including the analyzed information, anthropomorphizes the configured data and providing the anthropomorphized data, through the selected module to the user.
