    Abstract: An electronic device and method are disclosed, including a first and second battery, a first and second fuel gauge, and a processor. The processor implements the method, including: determining capacity ratios of the first and second batteries based at least on absolute capacities of the first and second batteries, as identified via the first and second fuel gauges, respectively, calculating a residual capacity of the first battery and a residual capacity of the second battery based on at least one of the determined capacity ratios and the obtained states of the first and second battery, respectively, and outputting the calculated residual capacity of the first battery and the calculated residual capacity of the second battery.

    Abstract: The present application provides an electronic device for preventing a universal serial bus (USB) device from being damaged, and an operating method therefor. The electronic device includes a universal serial bus (USB) connector connectable to at least one of a charging device and a USB device through a dual gender, and at least one processor electrically coupled to the USB connector. The at least one processor is configured to detect a connection of the charging device and the USB device to the electronic device through the USB connector, in response to the connection of the charging device and the USB device to the electronic device, determine a charging voltage satisfying a designated condition, and request the charging device to provide the determined charging voltage through the USB connector.

The processor is configured to control to receive first information from an external electronic device while transmitting wireless charging power to the external electronic device through the wireless charging circuit, to control, in response to receiving the first information, the wireless charging circuit to stop transmission of the wireless charging power and operate in a state of transmitting and receiving a ping signal, to check whether a predetermined time has elapsed since the transmission of the wireless charging power is stopped, and to control, in response to elapse of the predetermined time, the wireless charging circuit to retransmit the wireless charging power to the external electronic device.     Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a battery disposed inside the housing, a power management module for controlling charging of the battery, and at least one processor operationally connected with the battery and the power management module.     Abstract: A method of controlling charging of a plurality of batteries and an electronic device to which the same is applied are provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a plurality of batteries arranged in the housing, a power management module that controls the plurality of batteries, a plurality of current limiting ICs that limits a maximum intensity of a current flowing into each of the plurality of batteries, and at least one processor operationally connected to the plurality of batteries, the power management module and the plurality of current limiting ICs. The at least one processor may set a total charging current output from the power management module, set an individual charging current flowing into each of the plurality of batteries in proportion to a total capacity of each of the plurality of batteries, and recalculate the individual charging currents when the total charging current changes.
