Abstract: A method performed by a Distributed Unit (DU) in a wireless communication system, includes: identifying whether there are no downlink scheduling information and uplink scheduling information for a slot; when there are no downlink scheduling information and uplink scheduling information for the slot, identifying an interval without a downlink Control plane (C-plane) message, an uplink C-plane message, and a downlink User plane (U-plane) message; and generating a control signal for powering off a transmitter of the DU within the identified interval.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a 5th Generation (5G) or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data rate than a 4th Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). According to various embodiments of the disclosure, an apparatus of a base station in a wireless communication system is provided. The apparatus includes: a master Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA); a plurality of slave FPGAs controlled by the master FPGA; and an address masker coupled to the master FPGA and the plurality of slave FPGAs, wherein the address masker is configured to: receive different address bits assigned respectively to the plurality of slave FPGAs by the master FPGA; for the different address bits, mask bit values at a specific position with the same value; and transmit masked address bits corresponding respectively to the plurality of slave FPGAs.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as long-term evolution (LTE). An operation method of a base station in a wireless communication system may include obtaining indicators corresponding to a precoder, precoding a signal using the precoder, and transmitting the precoded signal to the terminal. The precoder may include elements defined by a phase value, an exponential value, or a sign, determined by combining variables based on the indicators. The precoder may be determined by searching a first memory storing coefficients for combining the variables corresponding to an antenna port and a layer, a second memory storing a size of a sine wave and cosine wave corresponding to the phase value, or a third memory storing a sign corresponding to a combination of an antenna port or a layer.
