Abstract: An electronic device including a foldable display and a method of operating the same are provided. The electronic device includes a display, a processor, and a memory. The memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to display one or more objects through the display, detect an operation event in which the display is switched from a first state to a second state, monitor a state change of the display based on the operation event, detect the display being folded to a designated angle, divide the display into a first display surface and a second display surface based on the display being folded to the designated angle, and rearrange and display the one or more objects based on at least one of the first display surface or the second display surface.
