    Abstract: Provided are an apparatus for supporting a plurality of wireless communication systems and an operating method of the same. The apparatus receives an integrated signal including a first wireless communication system signal and a second wireless communication system signal assigned to a certain frequency band, performs first processing on the integrated signal, performs second processing on the integrated signal, is scheduled to perform at least one of first interference cancellation (IC) process of canceling interference of the first wireless communication system signal from the integrated signal based on the signal on which first processing is performed or second IC process of canceling interference of the second wireless communication system signal from the integrated signal based on the signal on which second processing is performed, and performs at least one of the first IC process or the second IC process based on the scheduling.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a 5G or pre-5G communication system for supporting a higher data transfer rate than a 4G communication system such as LTE. The method is for phase correction of an antenna in a large-capacity antenna system, the method includes grouping large-capacity antennas into a predetermined number of groups; setting a path such that ports of the grouped antennas have a feedback path; outputting a test signal to be outputted to each antenna port of each group by adding a code or sequence having orthogonality; separating signals for each antenna port in the group by using the code or sequence having orthogonality in a signal received through the feedback path; and calculating a calibration value by detecting a phase change of the separated signal.

    Abstract: A communication method and system for converging a fifth generation (5G) communication system supporting a data rate higher than that of a fourth generation (4G) system with internet of things (IoT) technology are provided. A system-specific resource allocation method of a base station supporting multiple communication systems is provided in order for the base station to improve qualities of system-specific signals. The method includes allocating a first resource for a first system operating with a first transmit power and a second resource for a second system operating with a second transmit power to at least one terminal and receiving a signal including a first signal corresponding to the first system and a second signal corresponding to the second system on the first resource and the second resource from the at least one terminal, the first resource and the second resource being identical in position with each other in a resource grid.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for determining, by a receiving end, a correction time value according to ranging access in a wireless communication system. A reception apparatus in a wireless communication system comprises a signal period selector for selecting a first detection time interval and a second detection time interval from a RACH signal for ranging access, the RACH signal including a RACH preamble sequence, a time offset detector for detecting a first time offset and a second time offset, each corresponding to a point of time when the preamble sequence is received, from the selected first detection time interval and the second detection time interval, respectively, and a time offset determiner for determining a correction time value for correcting a point of time when data is transmitted by a transmitting end in the wireless communication system, on the basis of the detected first time offset and the second time offset. This research was carried out with the support of “Pan-government Giga Korea Project” led by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for measuring an amount of interference from an antenna, the method comprising the operations of: receiving at least on reference symbol; calculating a reference symbol NI, which is the antenna-related noise interference (NI) in the at least one reference symbol, on the basis of the at least one reference symbol; receiving at least one data symbol; calculating a data symbol NI, which is the antenna-related NI in the data symbol, on the basis of the at least one data symbol; calculating an NI ratio of the antenna which is the ratio of the data symbol NI relative to the reference symbol NI; and determining an antenna weight of the antenna on the basis of the NI ratio.
