Abstract: A first electronic device configured to receive power wirelessly according to an embodiment may include: a power receiving circuit including a plurality of capacitors, at least one coil, and at least one switch, a rectifier including a plurality of transistors, and a control circuit. The control circuit according to an embodiment may be configured to: set the plurality of capacitors and the at least one coil to a first connection state through the at least one switch, based on a frequency specified by a second electronic device transmitting power wirelessly; receive alternating current (AC) power wirelessly from the second electronic device through the power receiving circuit set to the first connection state; control the plurality of transistors included in the rectifier to rectify the power received from the second electronic device; identify a first voltage of power rectified to direct current (DC) through the rectifier; set the plurality of capacitors and the at least one coil to a second connection state through the at least one switch to increase an impedance of the plurality of capacitors and/or change a resonant frequency of the power, based on identifying that the first voltage is greater than a first threshold; and control the plurality of transistors included in the rectifier to freewheel the power received from the second electronic device.

Abstract: A power control method for wireless charging and an electronic device therefor are provided. The electronic device, includes a coil, an inverter including gate inputs which are electrically connected to the coil, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to control the gate inputs of the inverter in an anti symmetric manner to generate an output power, receive an output power reduction request from an external electronic device, based on receiving the output power reduction request, determine whether a ratio of ON-operations to OFF-operation of the gate inputs of the inverter is less than or equal to a designated ratio, and based on the ratio of ON-operations to OFF-operations of the gate inputs of the inverter being less than or equal to the designated ratio, modulate a phase of a voltage input into the gate inputs of the inverter to generate an output power.

Abstract: According to an embodiment, a wireless power transmitting device may include a transmission coil, a DC/DC converter configured to output a driving voltage, an inverter configured to output AC power to the transmission coil, and a controller. The controller may be configured to output a first control signal for generating the AC power having a first frequency to the inverter, measure a demodulated voltage generated by demodulating a signal applied to the transmission coil, and output, to the inverter, a second control signal for generating the AC power having a second frequency different from the first frequency, based on a first peak-to-peak value identified in the demodulated voltage being a preset first value or more. The inverter may output the AC power having the second frequency to the transmission coil based on the second control signal. Other various embodiments are possible as well.

Abstract: Various embodiments relating to an electronic device are disclosed, and according to an embodiment, the electronic device may comprise: a plurality of coils; a first power generation circuit electrically connected to at least one of the plurality of coils; a second power generation circuit electrically connected to at least one of the plurality of coils; and a control circuit, wherein when the approach of a second external electronic device is detected while first power is provided to a first external electronic device by using a first frequency via the first power generation circuit, the control circuit allows the frequency of the second power generation circuit to be configured to a second frequency different from a first frequency in order to provide second power to the second external electronic device. Other embodiments may be possible.

The control circuit configured to check a data packet received from the external electronic device which is in proximity to the electronic device, control to transmit first designated power to the external electronic device through the first coil wirelessly, and second designated power to the external electronic device through the second coil wirelessly by using the power transmission circuit.

The control circuit may be configured to: transmit power to an external electronic device; obtain data corresponding to power received by the external electronic device in response to the transmitted power using the wireless communication circuit; obtain power loss based on the obtained data; stop transmitting the power to the external electronic device when the power loss exceeds a first threshold; and stop transmitting the power to the external electronic device according to whether an event related the power loss occurs even when the power loss is lower than the first threshold.

Abstract: Various embodiments related to electronic devices are set forth herein. According to an embodiment, an electronic device comprises a coil, a power transmitting circuit electrically connected with the coil, a sensing circuit, and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to wirelessly output, using the power transmitting circuit, a first designated power through the coil to an external electronic device, and identify, using the sensing circuit, first energy detected at the coil due to a foreign object of the electronic device. The control circuit is further configured to, when a magnitude of the energy falls within a first designated range, output, using the power transmitting circuit, a second designated power to the external electronic device, and when the magnitude of the energy falls within a second designated range, abstain from outputting the power to the external electronic device using the power transmitting circuit. Other embodiments are possible as well.
