    Abstract: A display apparatus including a first display area, a second display area, and a folding area between the first display area and the second display area is presented. The display apparatus further includes a display panel having a display surface, a support member disposed under the display panel and including a folding structure and an opening disposed on the folding structure, and a planarization film in the opening of the support member, wherein a thickness of the folding structure in a first direction is greater than a thickness of the opening in the first direction, the first direction being orthogonal to the display surface.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a power generation unit, a control unit, a source driver, and a display panel. The control unit configured to receive image data, determine a reference grayscale value of the image data, and convert the image data to corrected data according to the reference grayscale value. The power generation unit configured to generate a first pixel driving voltage, a second pixel driving voltage corresponding to the reference grayscale value, and an analog driving voltage corresponding to the reference grayscale value. The source driver configured to generate grayscale voltages by using the analog driving voltage and output, as an image signal, a grayscale voltage corresponding to the corrected data from among the grayscale voltages. The display panel configured to receive the image signal and display an image corresponding to the image signal using the first pixel driving voltage and the second pixel driving voltage.

    Abstract: Provided is a display apparatus including a display layer including scan lines, data lines, and pixels, and defined by a first area exposed to an outside in both a closed state and an open state, and a second area, which extends from the first area in a first direction, is exposed to an outside in the open state, and in which at least a portion thereof is opposite to the first area in the closed state, a scan-driving circuit connected to the scan lines, deformation sensors arranged in the first direction and having resistance values corresponding to respective shapes of the display layer, deformation sensor drivers arranged in the first direction, respectively connected to the deformation sensors, and configured to drive the deformation sensors along the first direction, and a driving circuit configured to measure the resistance values of the deformation sensors.
