Abstract: A display device includes a polarizing plate including a first phase retardation layer, a second phase retardation layer disposed on the first phase retardation layer, a polarizer layer disposed on the second phase retardation layer, and a first adhesive member disposed between the first phase retardation layer and the second phase retardation layer. The first adhesive member is an adhesive layer having a refractive index different from a refractive index of the second phase retardation layer by about 0.25 or less, or a pressure sensitive adhesive layer having a thickness in a range from about 2 micrometers to about 10 micrometers.
