    Abstract: A gamma correction method is disclosed that performs gamma correction for a display device. A plurality of correction matrices respectively corresponding to a plurality of spectrums of different test display devices is obtained. A spectrum of the display device is measured. A correction matrix corresponding to the spectrum of the display device is selected from the plurality of correction matrices. Tristimulus data of the display device are measured and the measured tristimulus data are converted into perception tristimulus data by using the selected correction matrix. The gamma correction for the display device is performed based on the perception tristimulus data.

    Abstract: A display system includes a display region including a plurality of sub display apparatuses and a host processor which divides source image data into a plurality of sub input image data corresponding to the plurality of sub display apparatuses, and provides the plurality of sub input image data to the plurality of sub display apparatuses. A sub display apparatus of the plurality of sub display apparatuses includes a sub display panel including a plurality of pixels and a panel driver which receives corresponding sub input image data among the plurality of sub input image data and drives the sub display panel based on the corresponding sub input image data. The host processor includes a data generator which senses information of the plurality of sub display apparatuses included in the display region and determines a number of the plurality of sub display apparatuses.

    Abstract: A pixel includes a light-emitting element, a driving switching element and a noise switching element. The driving switching element applies a driving current to the light-emitting element. The noise switching element outputs a noise signal having a noise frequency to an input electrode of the driving switching element in response to a noise control signal. The noise frequency is equal to or greater than a driving frequency of the pixel. The noise signal having a periodicity is applied to the input electrode of the driving switching element of the pixel.
