Abstract: Provided is a light emitting element including a first electrode, a second electrode facing the first electrode, and an emission layer between the first electrode and the second electrode. The light emitting element according to an embodiment includes a nitrogen-containing compound represented by Formula 1 in the emission layer, and may thus exhibit improved luminous efficiency, long lifespan, and low driving voltage.
