Abstract: An automated insurance claim monitoring system includes an OCS that receives data relating to a claim filed by a customer, automatically generates claim events based on the received data, and makes the claim events available to a device where the customer can view the events. The OCS may thus be used to provide a comprehensive review of all recent events relating to the processing of a claim, enabling a customer to use the device for obtaining the overall status of the claim as the claim is processed.
