    Abstract: Devices and methods for connected isochronous stream (CIS) swapping are disclosed. In an example Bluetooth™ setting, a smartphone can be connected to multiple earbuds. It is possible that both earbuds include microphones, but only one microphone is enabled at a given time. That is, only one of the CISes established between the smartphone and the earbuds is bidirectional, and the other is unidirectional. The disclosed techniques enable the CISes to be swapped between the earbuds so that the earbud with better microphone quality will have ownership of the bidirectional CIS.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for streaming media from a Bluetooth-enabled peripheral device to a WLAN device over a wireless link (such as a P2P link). In some instances, a first peripheral device of a pair of peripheral devices selects values of a time-to-play (TTP) and a sequence number of a first audio stream, and synchronizes the selected TTP and sequence number with a TTP and a sequence number of a second audio stream. The first peripheral device rate-converts first audio data using a sample rate conversion ratio based on the selected TTP and sequence number, encapsulates the rate-converted first audio data into first RTP packets, and transmits the first RTP packets to the WLAN device concurrently with a transmission of second RTP packets from the second peripheral device to the WLAN device.

    Abstract: This disclosure describes a first slave device that transmits information to a second slave device indicating that a first data packet was improperly received from a master device, so that a corresponding data packet may be relayed from the second slave device to the first slave device. In an aspect, the second slave device may receive a first data packet followed by an indication that the first slave device improperly received the first data packet, where the second slave device is configured to relay the first data packet to the first slave device in response thereto.     Abstract: In a wireless communications system, packet error rate may be relatively low (e.g., five percent). Accordingly, receivers may successfully receive a first transmission the majority of the time. However, bandwidth may be used for retransmissions, which may be used relatively infrequently. Because retransmission packets do not necessarily have to be the same as transmission packets, transmission packets may be given more weight than retransmission packets. For example, transmission packets may be encoded with a higher bitrate than retransmission packets. In aspects, a transmitter may send a first transmission packet, including first data encoded with a first bitrate, and send a second transmission packet, including second data encoded with the first bitrate. The transmitter may send a first retransmission packet that includes the first data encoded with a second bitrate and the second data encoded with the second bitrate, and the first bitrate may be higher than the second bitrate.
