    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and/or a master node may use configurations to resume communications with one or more cells of a dual connectivity (DC) or carrier aggregation (CA) scheme. In some cases, the configuration may be used for a secondary cell group (SCG) of the DC scheme. This configuration may include the UE applying a previously stored configuration for the SCG (e.g., including higher-layer and lower-layer configurations of a last serving SN of the DC scheme) if it determines the previously stored configuration is valid. Additionally or alternatively, the configuration may include the network using a previous SCG configuration or reconfiguring the SCG and transmitting this indication in a resume communications message to the UE. In some cases, the network may determine this configuration based on assistance information or reports generated from the UE.

    Abstract: Methods (1500, 1600, 1700, 1800, 1900), systems (1000, 1400) and devices (705, 805, 1005, 1105, 1205, 1405) for wireless communications are presented. A method (1500, 1600) may include the following operations. A UE determines to perform a handover from a first source device in a first network to a first target device in the first network and from a second source device in a second network to a second target device in the second network (1505, 1605). The UE identifies a time interval for performing a first random access procedure with the first target device in the first network (1510, 1610). The UE initiates a first random access procedure with the first target device (1515, 1615). The UE performs a second random access procedure successfully with the second target device in the second network during the time interval (1520, 1620). The UE transmits or receives from the target device in the second network before the UE finishes performing the first random access procedure with the first target device in the first network (1525, 1630).

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, apparatus, and computer programs encoded on a computer storage media for providing user equipment mobility history information to a remote computing platform. In one aspect, a user equipment may store user equipment mobility history information in memory within the user equipment. The user equipment may determine whether a radio access network connection state has changed from a primary cell in a radio resource controller state to another cell outside a radio access network, to an inter-radio access technology cell, or to an out of service. The user equipment may transmit the user equipment mobility history information to the remote computing platform in response to determining that the user equipment radio access network connection state has changed from a primary cell in a radio resource controller state to another cell outside a radio access network, an inter-radio access technology cell, or an out of service state.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently performing measurements and other functions in preparation for communicating with a base station on a secondary cell (SCell). In particular, a user equipment (UE) may switch to a certain bandwidth part (BWP) (e.g., a dormant BWP) on an SCell when the SCell is deactivated, and the UE may perform the appropriate measurements and functions on this BWP (e.g., based on reference signals received on this BWP). In some cases, the UE may determine to switch to the BWP for performing the appropriate measurements and functions based on an inactivity timer expiring or based on an indication from a base station (e.g., on a primary cell (PCell)). Accordingly, once the UE activates the SCell for communications with a base station, the latency associated with preparing for communicating on the SCell may be reduced.

    Abstract: A wireless device may receive a first synchronization signal block (SSB) in a radio frequency band of a first cell of a neighbor base station, and report a physical cell identifier (PCI) for the first cell to a serving base station. The serving base station may identify, based on the PCI report, whether a radio frequency band of the first SSB is in or off a synchronization raster, and determine whether to instruct the UE to report a global cell identifier (CGI) for the neighbor base station (e.g., CGI for the neighbor cell) based on the identification. The wireless device may identify CGI based system information obtained from the neighbor cell, system information obtained from a master cell associated with the neighbor base station, system information obtained from CGI broadcast from the neighbor cell, or system information requested from the neighbor cell using dedicated resources, based on the instruction.
